Arie's POV:

"So you see, Arie would feel most comfortable if she had every class with Marcia and I," Cherry tells the school principal.

"Well, if this is what Arie needs to excel in school," the principal says.

"Oh, it is, right Arie?" Marcia looks at me, winking.

"Yes m'am, I would do the best if I had every class with them," I say, with an over exaggerated southern accent. Cherry and Marcia put their hands over their mouths in attempt to cover up their giggles.

"Where did you say you were from again?" the principal asks.

"Mehico!" I say, with a Mexican accent. The principal gives me a strange look, but doesn't say anything.

"Alright, here's your schedule. Just follow these two around all day and you should be good. Also, this is your locker number and combination. I will send a quick message to all your teachers telling them that you will be joining their classes," the principal states, handing me some papers.

"Gracias!" I say, grinning. Cherry, Marcia and I head out of the principal's office to find my locker.

"Okay, you are hilarious!" Cherry says, cracking up.

"Or nah," I say.

"Or yeah!" Marcia says, "so you're really from Mexico?"

"No I am from the UK!" I say in a British accent.

"Okay...stop... you're killing me!" Cherry says, in between laughs.

"You can die later, we gotta get to class!" I say, closing my locker.

I walk into first period english class with eyes all on me.

"We have to take our seats... just go talk to Mrs. Hibs, she'll get you all set up," Cherry says.

"Okay then..." I say. I walk up to a lady who must be Mrs. Hibs.

"Adam! Honey, I appreciate you wanting to get ahead but you can't just finish your homework for the entire semester, okay? The whole point of homework is to just make sure you know what you're doing when we are actually doing that unit. We haven't even started reading that book, how could you of done that homework!" Mrs. Hibs says.

"Library," the boy, Adam, says with a shrug.

"Adam, honey, I love and appreciate your IQ of 132, but we do not run a class for the gifted here," Mrs. Hibs says with a sigh.

"Mom! I just wanted to be ahead, why do you always do this!" Adam whines.

"I want you to focus less on school work and focus more on your social life," Mrs Hibs says.

"No mom says that! And I already have Ed!" Adam yells.

"Edward is at the bottom of the class and you know I don't like him!" Mrs. Hibs states, "Honey, just try to mingle, would you?"

"Fine..." Adam mumbles.

"Um... Mrs. Hibs?" I say, for the first time ever, a little shy.

"Oh! I'm sorry, my son is being difficult. You must be Arid!" Mrs. Hibs says with a smile.

"Uh.. it's Arie. A-R-I-E," I say, with a frown.

"Oh. Must be a typo, Arie. Well, welcome to first period English! I'm sure you'll find my class to be pretty easy," she says, then looking at Adam, "some find a little too easy."

"Yeah I've always been pretty good at English, I mean, I speak it and all," I say.

"Wonderful! Now, let's see... you can sit.... oh here! Right behind Adam!" Mrs. Hibs says. Then, I see her bend over to her son, and say, "get to know her!" followed by a "Mom!!!" from Adam. Mrs. Hibs walks in front of the class.

"Everyone! We have a new student today, Arid-"

"Arie!" I say, annoyed.

"Arie Quinn, from Mexico!" Mrs. Hibs finishes.

I give a cheesy smile and do a thumbs up, "Mehico!" I say, with my Mexican accent. Cherry and Marcia burst out in laughter, Marcia even falls out of her desk. Pretty soon the whole class is laughing, except for Mrs. Hibs.

"Uh... Mrs. Hibs!" Cherry settles down enough and raises her hand, "Arie isn't from Mexico... she's from New York City."

"Oh! It appears your name isn't the only typo on this sheet," Mrs. Hibs frowns, then mumbles, "I wonder if Principal Akard had her coffee this morning..." The whole class rumbles in a light laugh.

"Okay! Anyway, welcome, Arie," Mrs. Hibs says with a smile.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Okay, I think this chapter was a pretty good size. I added onto it after I published it, because it was only 200 something words. So now it's 700+. Don't forget to like and comment!
