The Reunion ~Jab they met again

Chapter 9

"Manik! Yahan kya kar raha hai?" Cabir asked sitting beside Manik who was apparently lost in his thoughts with a pen in his hands and diary on his laps.

"Cabir! Thank god to aa gaya mere bhai! Sunn please help me" Manik said getting excited seeing him there.

"relax bhai! Ab bata kya hua"

Manik took deep breath before saying "woh! Woh I'm planning a date for Nandini"

"WHAT???!!!??" Cabir shouted unsure of what he heard.

"Bhai shaant please! It's a surprise"

"SO THIS MEANS YOU ARE FINALLY PROPOSING HER" Cabir whisper-yelled, shocked.

"WHAT? No idiot. This is just a normal date, because I just wanna spend some time with her before this trip ends. I just wanna thank her for understanding me so well."

"Koi normal, random date ke liye itni planning nahi karta" Cabir said in 'Duh' tone examining the diary.

"I'm saying na it's just a normal date" Manik said taking the diary back.

"but you have to admit, you like her and you want a future with her"

"Ya I like her, but it's too soon to say anything about future. She is nice, sweet loving. Exactly like the one I wanted for me. She understands me. I understand her. That's what all you want from your life partner but it's just too soon to commit anything to her. Because at the end her happiness matters to me. I don't even know what she feels about me. So for now this 'Normal' date. Aage jo hoga Dekha jaayega" Manik said staring ajar.

"Okaaaaay! So what help do you want for your 'NORMAL' date" he said making Manik laugh.

"okay so! Everything is planned, just that I don't know the location for this date. I want it to be perfect, along with that I want that we could get some privacy"

"privacy? Oh for some adult time" Cabir said but got his head smacked in return.

"tu help kar raha hai Ya Mai jaau"

"kar toh raha hoon! Sochne de na.....ummm how about your favourite place! About which you used to talk alot but never took me there with you" he said after thinking alot but glared at the end because he never took him there.

Awe poor fellow

"sorry na bhai! But this is a great idea, it would be super. My stars and her fireflies." Manik said making Cabir confused.

"Hain! Stars! Fireflies! What?"

"kuch nahi bass, I love you and thank you and bye bye" Manik said running away from there.

"Yeh nandini ko bolna" Cabir shouted from behind.

Alya was sitting in 'their' room waiting for Dhruv to come.

After thinking on what Mutki said and gaining all the courage an hour ago she finally decided to message Dhruv and call him to their room to talk about their problems and to get him back in her life. To give her part to their relationship.

But she lost all her hopes when he didn't appear even after an hour passed. She was getting really impatient and upset at the same time. Maybe it was too late to mend their relationship. All their beautiful moments were running at the back of her mind. The thought of a future with him was haunting her.

She was so lost in her toughts and also too scared to open her eyes to see the reality that she didn't even realise when he walked into the room.

He knew she was having a panic attack, seeing her sitting there on the bed with her head in her hands, eyes closed and sweat beads on her forehead. But his pain was much more than his love that stopped him from going to her and calming her down. So he just called out her name, making her aware of his presence.
