Once upon a time there was a boy named Friedrich. He was forced in an orphanage in a very small town. He was a simple small boy, although he was 14. Friedrich, unfortunately, had been forced in the orphanage since he was 6. He had silky brown hair, and a tan color of skin. He was dressed in ragged clothes and had Socks as shoes. He was sadly left by his parents at a gas station as he was using the restroom. Attempting to run after the car, he got lost. He ran through the forest as fast as he could to possibly cut the car off, but he ended up in Frankstown. He was roaming through town to find a phone to try and contact them. As he was walking he saw the most beautiful building he has ever seen. Even though he was just 6 he could pronounce the words as best as he could, "Fr.. FranK.. Franks T.. Town" he struggled. "Frankstown Orr.. Orrpananayg" he guessed. As he walked up to the building, he knocked on the door. As he marveled at the beautiful sign, a tall, blond haired, young woman opened the door. She gazed at him and asked, "Where might your parents be, young one?". Friedrich paused and then finally spit out, "Oh.. I don't know.. They dwove off wifout me.". The blond haired girl gazed at him. She invited him in for some juice and crackers. He went in and took a long look at the building. He asked her, "What's an orpananayg?" The lady looked a bit confused, not sure what he was saying, until she finally understood. "Well young man, an orphanage is a place children go when they have no parents. People like me take them in and help them find their parents or a new home." She explained in a humble voice.
"Oh I didn't know that. Well... I better find my parents now.."
He said in a quiet, sympathetic voice.
"Wait sweetie... What happened?"
She said as he was about to walk out. "Oh I'll tell you." he mumbled.
So, young Friedrich told the story of how he ended there. He went on and on and on about his kitty moonlight. He said he missed her so much he could cry. He finished the story and asked the girl if he could stay with her for the night. The girl said yes. Those nights became into days. Those days turned into weeks. Those weeks turned into months. Those months turned into years. It was about 7 years later, and Friedrich was fourteen. He was a grown young man. He had many friends at the place, and he cared for many people. Especially his best friend Peter Jondoah. Peter had turned up when he was eight. They were both the same age and still are. Friedrich is the most mature out of all the boys and girls in the orphanage.
It was a warm Friday afternoon, and Friedrich found a flyer on the ground in a healthy condition. It read "RODEO SHOW FRIDAY NIGHT 6:00 P.M. $1 TICKET PER PERSON. FOOD, DRINKS, PETTING ZOO, AND MORE!" Friedrich stared at the flyer, and then his eyes lit up from realization. Of course the young boy was excited. He had never been to a petting zoo before. He looked at his watch he had on his wrist. It was five thirty. He rushed back to the orphanage. He raged through the door. "MRS. SAPPHIRE! WE NEED TO GO TO THIS!"
"Go to what?"
"To this rodeo! It's only one dollar per person!"
"Well do you have a dollar?"
"I have one."
"Use your dollar and I'll pay for everyone else."
"Ok. Sounds like a deal."
So off they went to the rodeo stadium. Friedrich was the most excited he had ever been. Mrs. Sapphire was calm and walked smoothly and casually. They entered the stadium and heard the cries of bulls and crowd members. Everyone was cheering and hollering. Friedrich stared in awe, completely starstruck by this sight. He looked up at his adoptive mother, Mrs. Sapphire, and nodded his head, as if to say, I'm ready to go in.
The children and Mrs. Sapphire walked to their seats, and began watching. Ater they had finished watching, they went on to the petting zoo. They ate some food, then made their way home.
