A long day of auditioning had passed and I sat in an Uber on my way home, as I received a call. „We found our guy! It's that one guy with the sexy teddy-bear face", said the casting director.
„Wait what was his name? Nathan?", I asked. I had this terrible habit ofintroducing myself to someone and when it was their turn to tell me their name, I never remember. It's like my brain is a computer and it just shuts down in those moments. „Noah is his name." I grinned.
We hung up and I looked down on my phone. Somehow I wanted to call himand tell him how excited I was, but I didn't have his number. Plus,we didn't even really know each other.
Days passed, filled with castings for the other parts, so for me that meant having some days off and preparing to become Lara Jean. I read all of the books in three days and I just loved them.
As I was finishing off the last chapter, a notification popped up on myphone. „Ncentineo is following you". I was so surprised that myheart skipped a beat. I felt so silly for that. His Instagram was very cute, as expected. Damn, his smile was something else.
I got so lost in his insta, I almost fell of the couch, when my phone rang. It was Anthony.
„Hey girl", he whispered into the speaker. I was so caught off guard that I stuttered a little bit: „He- hey, hi. Glad to hear you." Anthony is my boyfriend, my best friend and a total hottie, who unfortunatly lives on the East Coast for a TV series that he is apart of. „Man, I wish I could see you!", I said because it had been 4 months since I last saw him. We had been trying to visit one another, but our schedules were always way too packed. And at this point that we were at, we had to really focus on our career even if that meant not being able to be with one another. We talked for 15minutes, until he remembered that he had to pee. As he hung up, my Instagram was still open and showing Noah's page. I was about to put my phone away, when it 'pling'-ed and I saw that I had received a DM.It was from Noah. „I FCKN GOT THE PAAAART. Sorry for the caps but I'm so excited. It's gonna be awesome to work with you every day."He had also added his phone number.
