The world is softer when you're around
And the sharp sounds are dulled.
But gracefully so,
Like I'm underwater.
Noticeable but calm ringing in my ears,
And a soft tinkling
As I look into your eyes. When people are in love
They say that they feel they're floating,
But when I'm with you
I think I'm grounded.
When you talk
I feel more human than usual.I'd say it's your scent that I've fallen in love with,
But it's simply store-bought cologne.
Then maybe I'd say it's your eyes,
But those are dark and too fathomless
For me to ever read. No, I've fallen in love with all of you,
And any one thing about you
I cannot say I love.I get lost in your words,
At the simplest touch I could melt.
This is me,
Loving you for all that I know you are.
