Jughead POV
I smiled as I watched my little sister walk through the double doors of the middle school. I laughed lightly and began to walk to my school. I sighed as the old brick building came into view. My face brightened as soon as I saw Betty. I walked over to her. She kissed my cheek. "Hey Juggy." She greeted shyly. I just grinned at her. "You left a mark." I mumbled in her ear. She went bright red. I laughed."Y-you did too." She said between sudden giggles. "Since when do you know how to use concealer?" She questioned, eyeing up my neck. I briefly raised my eyebrows and winked. She scoffed but took my hand all the same. We walked into the building together and spotted Cheryl and Toni holding hands and talking happily to each other. I smiled, reminded
of Jellybean, but then remembered Adelaide was pissed at her. I wasn't happy about it.Jellybean POV
I took a breath before walking through the somewhat intimidating double doors. I saw a pair of beautiful green eyes staring at me. I knew better than to go over to Adelaide. I had already gotten myself hurt by doing that one too many times. I sighed as I found Rosie, who gave me a sympathetic look."She's being a total bitch." She said to me. I smiled. "I know." I agreed quietly. "Sometimes I think that girl should've have just stayed in the closet." She commented, eyeing her up. "You two are literally like the hottest couple ever." She added. I blushed. "Girls are so pretty." I breathed, spotting a pretty, small blonde girl walking to her home room. Rosie rolled her eyes.
"You're so gay sometimes." She said laughing lightly. "And you love it." I said, finger gunning her. "Nah bitch, I live for it." She said, snapping her fingers three times. I burst out laughing. "Yes honey!" I said, attempting to match her enthusiasm. She just jokingly scoffed and pushed me away. I shook my head and sighed.
The whole morning seemed to fly by today. I didn't mind. Lunch came and I could only hope Adelaide would be willing to talk to me. I guess I seemed pretty desperate. What she had done was pretty shitty. And bitchy. So when she approached me, clearly near tears, a was a bit shocked. To say the very least. "I'm sorry." She began solemnly.
We both embraced each other. Which was fairly ironic, considering that that's how this whole thing started. "I'm sorry." I whispered. "No, I'm sorry." She whispered back. We pulled apart and sat down together. We both kept apologizing. Over. And over. And over. To the point where we both burst out laughing. "I missed you." I told her. "I missed you too J. I just need to tell you that well, uh, um, my first uh crush is in town a-and I don't know. But I do know I like you." She said endearingly.
I blushed and nodded. "How about we go to Pops after school?" I suggested. Adi nodded enthusiastically. I texted Jughead to let him know. I'm going to Pops with Adi after school. So no need to pick me up. Also I'm not having sex...bitch xox I remembered that fight. It was a bad one. Actually, it was the bad one. We had never fought like that before. I cringed, but it didn't put a damper on my excitement.
Jughead POV
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket part way through lunch. It was Jellybean telling me she was going to Pops with Adelaide. I smiled and replied quickly, happy that they were back together. ExCuSe Me No CuSsInG. I began, trying to 'meme'. Also I'm hella glad you got your girl back. You know how to win 'em over. See you at home xox I put my phone back."Who was that?" Archie asked, coming to sit beside me as I was all alone. "Just Jellybean." I said, sliding over to make room. "What's she up to, I haven't seen her in a while?" He asked absentmindedly. I hesitated over my answer. "Oh, she's uh, she's in the play the middle school's having, Peter Pan. Uh, I don't know, just the usual." I told him, trying not to say the wrong thing.
"Isn't she dating Soleil's sister?" He asked bluntly. My face contorted into something that reflected confusion. "How did-?" I began. He cut me off, clearly knowing what I was going to request. "I saw them at Pops a while back. Looked pretty serious or something." He explained, shrugging slightly. "What?" I asked, smirking, eyeing the look in his eyes. "I called it." He whispered. I snorted. "Y-you seriously actually legitimately called that my eight year old sister was-" I began, but was cut off this time by my own laughter.
