I just sat there...numbness took over my body. Tears slip out of my eyes...I hold in my hands my mothers dead body I called the cops but it would be a while before they came. It was all my dads fault. He hit her to hard. But my desperate attempts were hopeless. I couldn't bring her back. She was the only real person I could talk to in my house an now she's gone. I forces myself up and called Liam my best friend since I could remember. It was 2:24 am but he would understand.
*phone call*
Liam: h-hello
Me:Liam! I-I need you quick I know it's la-
Liam: it's okay yasmeen I'm coming don't worry.
Me:you don't understand Liam. It's about my mom.
Liam:....what?
Me: just come quick!!
*end call*
I could barely breathe I was crying so hard. My dad left as soon as he had known what he had done. How could he do this to me? He was a drug dealer and an alcoholic. Every night was the same he went to the bar got drunk probably hooked up with someone came home abused both me and my mom. But tonight he had gone to far. When he came home he cornered me. The smell of alcohol and cigarettes overwhelmed me. He started to touch my face and move down to my shirt but when mom stepped in to say no...it went downhill from there.
