Rider was fuming and worried. He was annoyed that Fawn had gone off on her own to find Chase but he knew that he didn't blame her. He would do the same if he was in her position, if Fawn or one of his brothers were in danger.
It just pissed him off that she didn't tell him.
Rider stormed down the stairs, not bothering to be quite. His brothers followed cautiously behind him giving the loose cannon space.
'Gunner!' Rider shouted, 'Find out if anyone's seen Chase recently,' he ordered. He wouldn't put it past the fucker to make his girl worried over nothing. Rider didn't wait for a response before he strode into the security room fuming.
Fawn hadn't been gone for that long and the only way in and out of the compound was the front gate which was manned by a patrol and Rider knew his brothers wouldn't let her go out on her own knowing the threat to her.
Behind him he heard Wielder exit his office, demanding to know what was going on and why he was shouting. Dimly he hear one of his brother fill him in. Rider was too focused on getting Fawn back to explain.
He worked quickly and pulled up the security footage of the gate over the past hour. He skimmed through the footage seeing nothing but Bear and Tank starting their patrol and switching gate watch from Ash.
Frustrated he turned to the property's security cameras. If she hadn't left using the gate that meant she was still on the ground. A small sense of relief washed over him as Wielder appeared next to him, scrutinising the footage like Rider.
'How can we help brother?' he asked urgency laced in his tone. Rider knew that his girl had hit it off with his brothers and all of them seemed taken with her. He had no doubt in his mind that each one would help. It seemed that Fawn had found her way into everyone's lives and it was good to see some of his brother's like Gunner laughing when she was around.
'She's still here,' he growled, rising from his chair and storming out of the room. 'Split up and search for her!' he ordered. Rider wasn't sure whether he was going to kiss her or shake her when he found her. What was she thinking running off like that.
The first thing he did when he calmed down a bit, was send his brothers to skirt the perimeter and question the bikers who were on patrol while Rider went to see if he could find any sort of tracks or signs of her outside his bedroom window.
Anger fill his gut as he stood under the window a few minutes later. Fawn must have used the tree to descend from his window down to the ground. There was no indent on the hard ground show his girl hadn't fallen. That was a relief to a point. He pushed the thought of her inn pain on the ground out of his mind and focused more on the pressing matter at hand.
Rider was no tracker but luckily for him, Fawn was clumsy and he could see a couple patches of grass which had been trodden down by someone tripping and stumbling away in a rush. He followed to the best of his ability.
It seemed that instead of heading to the open gate, Fawn had gone further into the clubhouse's property striking Rider as weird presuming that she would have been heading to the exit. There was no other obvious exit to the club.
After what seemed like hours, whereas in reality it was only 20 minutes, of stumbling around the property and calling for her he was barely restraining himself from punching a tree. He was worried, worried of what would happen if he didn't find her in time. He was also angry at himself. he should have kept an eye on her. He should have realised that something was wrong. And now ..... Christ! He had only known the girl for a couple of weeks and he had already fallen for her, he had fallen hard.
His ringing phone roused his attention. Swiftly pulling out his phone he glanced at the caller ID, Wielder.
'Anything?' he asked answering the phone not bothering to greet his president.
'Nothing on the security cameras, there's been a biker on the gate all day, no one's come in or out of the club in the time Fawns been missing,' Wielder's gruff voice told him. Rider shut his eyes, and pinched his brow fighting for patience.
'What about Chase?' he asked 'Anyone seen or heard from him?'
'Gunner asked around but no one has seen him recently although Tank said he saw him leaving the club house last night but no one's heard from him since.'
'Can we track their phones?' Rider asked, irritated that he didn't think of this sooner.
'Already on it, Bear's almost got Fawn's but he can't pick up a signal on Chase's' Wielder told him, speaking coolly and calmly but Rider could her the rage berried underneath it. The club was family and even though Chase and Fawn had only been a part of the club for a short time but in that short time Rider knew the Wielder was already considering Chase like a brother and Rider knew he pictures Fawn as a sort of daughter. Although to him this situation seemed oh so familiar.
Rider cursed into the phone, irritated over the whole matter and wanting to feel more control. He had skirted much of the property by now and him and his brothers had combed the woods. His concern and worry was just growing, what had happened to her?
'I'm goanna head back, perhaps she's hiding in the club house or something, we've searched the woods and I can't keep walking in fucking circles' he told him, hearing Wielder's murmur of agreement.
As he turned round Wielder told him that he would call Gunner, Tank and Smokey to stay out and keep going through the property looking for Fawn. Rider thanked him and hung up, Turning on his feet and heading back to the compound his eyes scanning every angle around him, Hight in the trees and down in the bushes he searched on his way back.
If he didn't find her soon he would take his bike and search the nearby area, if god forbid he hadn't found her after that he would try the warehouses and if he didn't find her after that he would go on a fucking rampage until he did. The thought her walking along a empty street alone didn't sit well with him, any random fucker could take her.
As the club house returned to his line of sight his phone rang again - Wielder. Hope filed him as answered the phone quickly
'Please tell me you have something' he practically begged into the phone.
'Bear's got her phone signal.' Wielder's gruff voice filled the line
'Where?' Rider asked
'Corner of Archer's street' he told him and Rider was off, running to his bike.
