Heart P.O.V

Khalil and I were chatting away on the car ride to the airport, just getting to know each other. He told me he was raised in Antelope, California and moved to North Carolina when he was 11. He’s also really good at basketball. “Maybe one day I can show you my skills,” he said with a smile. “I’d like that,” I said. I told him about my family. My two siblings (an older brother and a younger sister), my mom, and my stepdad. “I’m really close to my mom, but I never really liked my stepdad. My real dad died when I was just a baby. He was in a car crash. “Wow. I’m really sorry,” he said sympathetically. “It’s okay. I never really knew him anyway, but I wish I had.” He didn’t really know what to say, I guess, so he just nodded. I left out a few parts of my life, important parts. I really liked Khalil, and I was afraid that if he knew all the baggage I was carrying, he wouldn’t want anything to do with me. Maybe when we got closer I would tell him. But right more, I didn't want to jeopardize any chance I had with him.

KhalilP.O.V

Heart seemed like she had a secret that she didn't tell me. She kept pulling her sweatshirt sleeves down and she was wearing jeans in 102 degree weather. And I could see it in her eyes that she was hiding something. I really liked her, and I learned all about her life in the car. Maybe if we were together I could uncover everything she was hiding, and help her through whatever situations she was going through. I wanted to ask her out. Soon.

Meghan P.O.V

Diggy and I were having a lot of fun talking about our love of sneakers. “What's your favorite pair of guy and girl sneakers?” Diggy asked me, seeming very interested in what i was about to say. “For guys, I would have to say Jordan Play In These II and for girls, Nike Blazer Mid Leathers,” I said. I was wearing the Blazers right now. “Same here! You know what they say, ‘great minds think alike’”, Diggy said with a smile. I grinned back at him. “Your boyfriend is a lucky guy,” Diggy said to me. “Thanks, but i don’t have a boyfriend. I’m single as a dollar bill,” I said laughing. “Really? I’m surprised someone hasn’t already snatched up a beautiful girl like you,” he said to me. “Do you have a girlfriend?” I asked him, hoping he would say no. “No, I don’t. But I have my eye on someone,” he said smiling. “Oh. I see,” I said looking at the ground,feeling disappointed. I could feel tears about to fall, so I looked out the window. I could tell he was looking at me, and he could tell I was crying.

Diggy P.O.V

Meghan was crying, and I knew it was because of what I had just said. Now was the time to tell her how I felt.

“Hey, you don’t have to cry. Baby, I was talking about you. I like you,” I said to her. I turned her around, took her face in my hands and wiped her tears from her face. “Be my girlfriend,” I said. Before she could say anything, I crashed my lips into hers. Meghan pulled away and said, “I was wondering when you were gonna ask me that.” We continued kissing for a while longer. I can’t believe it. The most beautiful girl I have seen is now my girlfriend. I’ve never been happier in my life.

Spin P.O.V

On the ride to the airport, I sat next to Melanie. It was both good and bad at the same time. The good part was I got to sit next to her beautiful self the whole car ride and admire her out of the corner of my eye. The bad part was she wouldn't talk to me. I couldn't tell if she was playing hard to get or if she just didn't like me.  I decided to try to talk to her again. "So Melanie,  why do you hate me so much?" "I don't hate you, I just don't like how you approached me. You assume that every girl wants you, but I'm not that easy. If you really wasn't me, you better work." [AUTHORS NOTE; Jasmine V pun intended :)]  "Well the only reason I approached you the way I did was because that's how I'm used to approaching girls. Most girls are crazy fans and like it when I do that. Tour different, and I like that. Don't worry, I'll win you over soon enough," I said with a wink.

Melanie P.O.V

What Spin just said really made me wonder if I had to give him such a hard time. He seemed like he had good intentions. But then again, how would it look if I was playing hard to get, then all of a sudden, gave in just like that. I would just gradually soften up to him, so I wouldn't seem too desperate, but I still wouldn't seem like a b*tch.

Jaden P.O.V

"You know, its a shame y'all have to leave today.  I really wanted to get to know you better," I said as I helped her with her bags. "Yeah me to. But you have my number so you can text me or call me whenever," she said with a smile. "I'll definitely do that," I said. "Well, I guess I'll talk to you soon?" Aspyn said to me opening up get arms for a hug. "Most deff," I said giving her a hug. "Bye," we said to eachother.  

Diggy P.O.V

"I wish you could stay longer," I said to Meghan, looking into her eyes. My arms were around her waist and her arms were around my neck. "Me too. But I'm definitely coming back when I have done cash to buy a plane ticket. I really like it here." "Just tell me whenever you want to come back and I'll fly you out here in a heartbeat," I said. "I'll miss you," Meghan said to me. "I'll miss you too." I cupped her face in my hands and pulled her into a kiss.  We said our last goodbyes and Meghan walked over to Aspyn.

Heart P.O.V

I was standing with Khalil, saying bye to him. "Well, it was really nice meeting you Khalil," I said with a smile. "You too. Can I have your phone number? He asked me. "Sure," I said. I have him my number, hugged him, and went to go wait with Aspyn and Meghan.

Melanie P.O.V

Everyone was standing with somebody saying goodbye, giving hugs, exchanging numbers, and I was standing awkwardly with Spin. I wanted to say something, but the way my plan was set up, I couldn't really do that. "So, did you like L.A?" Spin asked me. "Yeah," I said, plain and simple. "That's good...so, can I have your number?" Spin asked me. "Um...I guess." I gave him my number and said,"Well, bye." "Bye. Can I get a hug?" Spin asked. I gave in and gave him a small hug, then walked off. I hope he makes his move soon. I don't know how much longer I can take this 'playing hard to get' business.
