Noon, 17th Feb. Gatwick Airport.
As we got off of the coach, it became apparent how different the amounts of luggage people had brought was. Some girls in the year above had massive suitcases, whereas most of us had kept our stuff to a minimum - just hand luggage.Checking in, we found that we had the option to have our luggage placed in the hold at no extra cost, to free up space in the lockers. Most of us declined.

We got through security and every other procedure that needed to be done, and were in the shopping area. I have a distinct memory of seeing a massive teddy bear selling for over £100. I wasn't trusted with my phone, so I took a picture of it on my disposable camera. (It didn't come out well, the lighting was terrible.) We bought some sweets and the like whilst we waited for boarding.PM, 17th Feb. GA.
I don't feel the need to detail boarding the plane, just that everyone was trying to swap seats to get to sit next to their friends. (This was reverted by the teachers)I think I ended up sitting next to some girl in the year below. She wasn't very sociable, so I just kept myself to myself. I was asleep for most of the journey
