18) Stitch him up

THE SMELL OF COFFEE and grilled cheese filled the air of the Petrova Mansion. That was the name Madeline gave the mansion when the Mikaelsons left. Katherine had left that afternoon, saying she had business in Mystic.

Maddie had gotten a call from Caroline saying she was done with Elena's shit and wanted to come back and Maddie was happy with that. In all honesty, what Elena did to Stefan made Maddie want to kill her even more, although she could never do that to Jeremy.

Now, the Petrova Hybrid sat as she flipped another page of "Beautiful Creatures" with a small smile. Dressed in a silk pyjama tank top and shorts, had a coffee next to her with her grilled cheese before there was a knock at the door.  Maddie groaned but got up. She expected it to be Stefan, but was surprised when she came face to face with none other than Isaac freaking Lahey.

"Isaac? What are you doing here?" Maddie asked confused before seeing his bags and his guilty look. "Derek kicked me out." Was all he had to say for Maddie to sigh and open the door further.

"Well, welcome to the Petrova Mansion, stay as long as you want but you have to ignore the blood bags in the fridge and the few dead bodies in the basement. In fact, just avoid the basement." Maddie stated and Isaac nodded, thankful she was even letting him stay here at all.

"There are twenty bedrooms, seventeen bathrooms. There's a kitchen through here and a bar on the other side of the house. Twelve rooms upstairs have their own bathrooms, but there are two rooms ups there that are attached to one bathroom so... also there are two bathrooms down here that aren't attached to bedrooms and then the last two are stuck to rooms." Madeline summed up and then gave Isaac a tour. It was agreed that he was in the room next to Kol's and Katherine's but across from Caroline's before she got a text from Allison.

"Isaac! Let's go over to Scott's. A little birdy told me he might be in a little bit if trouble." Maddie told the Beta who walked out of his room in a leather jacket.

"Okay."

Maddie grinned as she and Isaac stood outside Scott's room as he spun, his helmet in his hand before jumping at the sight of the two.

"Your door was unlocked. Where are you going?" Maddie questioned and Scott looked like a deer caught in headlights. "Uh, I was gonna go get some food to eat." Scott covered up with a smile and Isaac grinned as Maddie clapped her hands together.

"Oh cool. We'll come with you." Isaac said and Scott shook his head. "Nah guys, it's okay. I can eat alone." Scott said but the two weren't having it. "What are you getting?" Isaac then questioned and Scott looked thoughtful.

"uhhh Mexican." Scott said and Maddie held her hand over her chest. "Oh, we love Mexican." Maddie said turning but Scott stopped them.

"Isaac, Maddie. I can eat alone." Scott said sternly but they only smiled. "That's the thing Scott. We're not gonna let you walk into this alone." Maddie told Scott as she gave Scott a bracelet with the wolf head jewel on it. Isaac wore an identical bracelet while Maddie wore a necklace with the wolf head jewel on it.
