(This is what Sam looks like to other people, just to clarify this isn't what he actually looks like)

Claire's P.O.V

Lunchtime came, yay, I walk into the cafeteria, slowly looking around, Wesley and Brooke were already seated in the table near the middle, great, I think to myself, I absolutely hate sitting near the, popular table, they always seem attracted to my back with all the hard slapping and the pinching whenever they walked past, I slowly walk towards the line to get food, feeling worn out I grab a tray moving aside each time the lunch lady placed food on my tray, I walk backwards tray in hands as I turning around huffing before I walk towards Wesley and Brooke "why do you two always want to sit here? You know how much I hate sitting here," I sigh sitting down carefully placing my tray on the table "come on, this table is going to be perfect to watch the new guy," Brooke declares as I just roll my eyes "come on your still going on about that," I groan before placing a very unappetizing nugget in my mouth "of course, but his eyes though, they're the most prettiest shade of blue, oh there he goes," Brooke points to Sam walking into the cafeteria getting his food, wait, blue doesn't she mean red? What, "Brooke I think you were supposed to say red, the most prettiest shade of red," I correct her as she looks back at me confused "are you blind? His eyes are blue not red, Wesley help me out here," Brooke looks at Wesley waiting for him to take her side "they are blue Claire, you might just be hallucinating," Wesley agrees with Brooke as I just groan in response "you too Wesley? So then why can I see red?" I try to prove a point raising my eyebrows waiting for them to respond "your either blind, or your just trying to say they're red because you like red," Brooke clarifies moving her head sassily as I just roll my eyes "wow I'm probably blind as a bat then," I say as I did, jazz hands, rolling my eyes once again.

Brooke glances behind before her eyes slightly widen looking back at me "oh my god, don't look but hottie is looking right at you," Brooke whispers quickly looking down at her food making it look like nothing happened, me being me I turn around my eyes staring right into Sams red one, see Brooke they are red, as if on queue Sam looks away walking for a spot to sit at in the room "Claire what did I just say," Brooke murmured looking back up at "Hey Claire, how's it going, I haven't seen you there for ages," the "it" group greets me with a slap on the back as they walk past sitting on the table "hey new kid," everyone looks at who Veronica ,aka the popular girl, was pointing at, Sam? Why was she pointing at him? Sam looks up at Veronica confused "come sit with us," Veronica screech's trying to sound seductive "yea come on," one of the guys says as the rest keep on chanting for Sam to sit next to them. Sam looks around the cafeteria before his eyes meet magain, Sam breaks apart looking back at Veronica walking towards their table, everyone is now acting normal talking with their friends as they ate, I went back to eating what was placed on my tray, I need to remind myself to make my lunch onwards, just as I was about to take a bite in my so yummy looking uh I don't even know what it is food I feel someone tap my shoulder, who is it now, I turn around only to be met with, wait what his eyes are different, how are they green? What, I think I'm going blind "hey, is this seat taken?" Sam points to the empty chair next to me, I freeze, what is he doing here? What am I doing? I shake my head closing my eyes for a second before responding "uh no go right ahead," Sam gives me a quick "thank you" before sitting down "so, new boy, I mean, oh my god, I'm sorry but, what's your name?" Brooke stammers her cheeks a tinge color of red from embarrassment "Sama- Sam Hayden, my friends from back in New Zealand called me Samael though," Sam gives her a small smile looking down at her food "I like that nickname, by the way I need to ask you a question," I comment turning more towards Sam, Sam looks up waiting for me to continue "can I prove to my friend your eyes are red, aren't they? Brooke and Wesley here keep on saying they're blue," Sam stiffens, did I say something wrong? Brooke and Wesley listen in waiting for his answer, Sam clears his throat "they're blue," Brooke fist pumps the air knowing that she was right as I just frown crossing my arms like a child having a temper tantrum before I break into a grin.
