Prompt: Calum stands up for Luke who is bullied
Luke Hemmings, your typical goody two shoes. Always early for class, never gets told off, straight A's, never had drugs or alcohol and hundred percent pure virgin.
Calum Hood, your typical popular jock. Always throws the best parties, average C grade, flirts with all the teachers, has everyone swooning over him and has got douche bag friends who bully the boy Calum's been in love with since year 7.
"He is such a faggot I can barley look at him without feeling sick! Why can't he go die in a hole, no one likes him anyway so no one will miss him!" Complained Nate in a whisper but loud enough for Luke who was sitting in front of them to hear.
"Hey nerd!" Called Chuck throwing a ball of paper to the back of Luke's head startling him. "I have history and maths homework due tomorrow, do it and get me an A or you'll regret it!"
"O-okay" Stuttered Luke but before he had time to turn back around, the teachers yells at them,
"Would you boys like to share your conversation with the rest of the class?"
"Sorry sweet cheeks wont happen again." Chuckles Nate winking at Miss Greene before he and his friends start laughing.
"Right that's it! Calum Hood, Nathaniel Archibald and Chuck Bass you seem to be the ones causing the most trouble here, detention!"
"What miss that ain't fair! Luke was talking too!" Complained Chuck sounding like a six year old.
"I suppose you are right. I'm shocked to say this but Luke Hemmings, detention!"
Calum has adored Luke ever since year 7 where he witnessed Luke squirt his Capri-sun all on his face when trying to put the straw in. He remembers Luke's' cheeks going bright red and the small giggle that escaped his lips as his friends, Micheal and Ashton laughed helping him clean the mess he made.
The older Calum got, the more feelings he got for the blonde boy but because of his 'friends', the older Luke got, the more he hated Calum.
Calum hated the way they spoke to Luke and the brown eyed boy would always want to stand up for him but never knew what to say and it was honestly driving him insane with how he just stands and watches them verbally abuse Luke everyday. It wasn't till they were in detention that day that Calum finally stood up for him.
"You stupid fucking fag, you got us all detention!" Snarled Nate standing up from where he was leaning against a desk. The teacher had left not even five minutes ago to get a coffee when really Mr White most probably wont be back will the end of detention.
"I think he needs to be taught a lesson, don't you Nate." Smirked Chuck stepping closer to the shaking boy.
"Please don't hurt me!" Pleaded the penguin lover as he shielded his face. Suddenly realizing what they were about to do, Calum shot out of my chair screaming "STOP!"
"Dude what's your problem, come help us beat the shit out of the gay dick." Complained Nate, everyone in the room staring at Calum in shock.
"If you dare lay a finger on him, I swear to god I will make your life a living misery like you have been doing to Luke since year 7! I have just sat back and watched you torture him everyday for the past four years and I've had enough!" Fiery anger clear in Calum's eyes as he spoke each word.
"Ha! Don't tell me this gay shit has infected you! You are not a fag!" Barked Nate letting go of Luke.
"Being gay isn't a disease, you don't catch it! You are either born gay or not, it just takes a while for some people to figure out if they're gay or not. So don't you dare look at me as if you're going to catch something just from being in the same room as me because news flash it's 2014 no one cares if you're straight or not except for those fucked up dickheads like yourselves, and anyone else who hates, tortures, bullies people just because of the gender they love! So yeah I'm a 'fag' but I haven't just suddenly caught it, I've known I was gay ever since year 7 when I fell madly in love with Luke and call me cliche but it was love at first sight. However I've been so stupid, being so far up you guys' ass I've kept my sexuality a secret because for some stupid, messed up reason I cared if you didn't accepted me and that's made me never be able to stand up for Luke or be myself but now I've realized that I don't need you low lives to accept me for who I am because I'm higher than you. I'm higher than you because I don't get happy or feel exited when seeing other people in pain. Nor do I enjoy sleeping with anything that moves unlike you guys. I'm proud to be me and you shouldn't bully someone for being themselves you should give them a pat on the back because it's a harsh world out there and being your self is one of the hardest things to accomplish. So do me a favour and fuck off!"
Silence. Nate and Chuck had no response. "Well you heard him, fuck off!" Shouted Mr White at the pair, "And expect a phone call home later along with a meeting with the head master, we have a zero tolerance policy to bullying, it doesn't matter how popular you are, you can bet your sorry asses you're expelled!"
"Thanks Mr White." Mumbles Luke standing up from the floor and dusting himself off.
"It's alright kiddo. Right I will give you two some privacy, everyone else, detention is over!" Exclaimed Mr White causing the rest of the kids to cheer, many whispered good luck to me as they passed whilst others just smiled.
"Luke I don't know where to begin to apologize..." The olive skinned boy mumbles walking over to Luke.
" Did you mean it? Everything you said?" He questions looking deep into Calum's brown eyes.
"Every last word." Calum whispers in response.
"You're forgiven then." Breathes Luke, lips ghosting over Calum's before finally applying pressure.
