POV: Lily
"Lillllllly!" Shouted Emma.
"Whatttttttttttttttt" I screamed back to Emma.
"TPPP" She cried.
Sigh. I roll my eyes to go get the the toilet paper from the cabinet outside the bathroom.
"Open," I say closing my eyes. She opens the door and I hand it to her.
"Thank you" She says a minute later trotting into my room. I roll my eyes again. "You know one day those eyes will have gone way back into your head."
"Whatever." I say gesturing her towards my closet. "What should I wear?" I ask her, swiping hangers back and forth.
"Wear whatever. Who cares what you wear?"
"What the hell is wrong with you? It's the first day of high school, freshman year. You know the first impression that is counted on for the next four years of the your life." I state my back still turned to Emma.
"Worst comes, you still have me, ok." She says.
"WILL YOU JUST HELP ME FIND SOMETHING!"
"Be quiet." She snapped.
"There's no-one in the house. Hello?Hello? It's empty."
"We have ten minutes to get out, and you still have to make your lunch Lily, otherwise I'm leaving without you."
"You wouldn't."
"Watch me, it's my car anyways." And on that note she went downstairs.
5 minutes later I come downstairs dressed and go to the kitchen to make a sandwich.
"Really that's what your wearing." Says Emma with a judgemental look on her face like always.
"DEAL with it. It's basic and comfortable." I state.
"Nothing about a red denim skirt screams comfortable." Says Emma, raising an eyebrow.
"Look I don't care, I have a comfortable t-shirt on, and I need to make a sandwich. Peanut butter?" I point to the cabinet that has the butter inside of it.
"I made you one already."
"Thank you thank you thank you!" I hug her for a second then stuff it into my bag.
"Lets go"
I lock the front door and we head our way towards Emma's car. I don't have a car of my own yet, key word: yet, because my older brother Matthew is going to college anyways so I'm going to get his car.
"You excited?" I ask Emma.
"Of course. A whole school with whole lot of new boys." She chuckles.
"All you think about is boys. Boys. Oh, and more boys" I say, sighing.
"All you think about is books, books. Oh and more books" She says, sighing.
"Whatever."
"Surely with all that book reading you do, you must have another world to replace 'whatever' in your vocabulary." Claims Emma.
"Just carry on driving." I say looking at her.
We arrive at our new school for the next four years. She parks and we get out simultaneously.
"I really hope that our lockers are next to each other."
"Me too." We both look at each other and head towards the door, where there were herds of people going through. Emma is wearing her usual style, which is a dress and some boots and jewellery to go with it. I don't understand when she says 'wear whatever' like not everyone is comfortable to come out looking like a queen. But I still love her to death.
