Chapter 11

Sunny's POV

My eyes fluttered open, and I was roughly hit by an annoying bright light.

"Am I in heaven?" I mumbled to myself.

"Sunny!!" Someone called. I painfully turned by head to see Kris with a relieved face.

"What happened?" I asked as I tried to sit up, and succeeded with the help of Kris. I looked around and saw Chen, Sehun, Taeyeon, Chanyeol and D.O watching me with Kris.

"You got dizzy from Chanyeol's driving and got knocked out." Chen said as he handed me a bag.

"What's this?" I asked, as I took the bag.

"Food." He answered simply. I opened the bag, and it revealed a tall thermos. Damn, it was hot.

I turned the thermos and was greeted by the delicious smell of food. There was A LOT.

"Who made this?" I asked as I inhaled the wonderful smell.

All eyes looked to the person who I least expected would make this for me.

"D.O.?" I asked. He nodded sheepishly, earning a grateful smile from me.

"Thank you. But, Im 100% sure that I won't be able to finish all this so, Sehun, pass me those plastic plates." I instructed Sehun, as I pointed towards the cupboards where I saw plates.

Without hesitation, Sehun ran to the cup board and took out a lot of plates.

Kris helped me separate the food into all the plates for everyone and we all ate happily. Once we were all done, Taeyeon threw out the plates.

"Ah, you're awake." The doctor walked in. He gave me a warm smile and I returned the gesture. He looked pretty young to be a doctor, in fact, he looked like he was about our age.

"I was just treating your friends wound in the other room, sorry about the delay." He said.

Kai!! I forgot about him!

"H-how is he?" I asked anxiously.

"He's excellent. A very nice boy with manners and looks, in fact, the nurses were checking him out, and acting like pedophiles." He rambled as he felt my forehead for a fever and wrote something down on his notepad.

"No, I mean, how's his injury." I corrected.

"Oh! Silly me. He's getting much better. We're lucky the bullet was small, so he didn't loose too much blood. We got the bullet out in ease, and he's just eating now. He'll be discharged in a day or two, depending on his pain." The doctor smiled brightly.

I sighed in relief as I wondered what I would do if he wasn't okay.

"Oh thank goodness Kai is alright." Chen said as he sighed happily.

"I'll be right back to get some pain killers for you, since you'll be getting sever head aches later." The doctor informed me and left the room.

"Umm.....Sunny. Can I...uh.....talk to you alone?" Chanyeol asked nervously.

I nodded, and the others slowly got up from their seats, and Kris placed a kiss on my forehead before leaving and closing the door behind him.

"Im really sorry, for my reckless driving. I should've let someone more mature drive it. And I should've been more careful. Do you think you'll be able to forgive me?" He said softly, looking down at the ground.

I smiled and lifted his chin, so that his eyes met mine.

"I don't even blame you for this, Chanyeol. At least we made it safely, and I doubt anyone else could drive either. And I should thank you, for helping us save Kai. I don't know what I would do if something happened to him. Oh, and thank you for driving us, even though the Golds are your rivals." I spoke and smiled warmly at him, making his face brighten.
