"You're stupid." I growled at Derek.

"Get over yourself Blake. You're going to school wether you want to or not." I shook my head, no.

"I've been homeschooled sinde I got back four fucking years ago! Why do I need to go to public school?!"

"I'm not arguing over this shit. You're going. Point blank. Go to bed." he growled.

"You're a bitch!"I screamed as I ran up to my room. Pulling my phone out, I pulled up Asher's contact and hit call. Asher Martin is my best friend of all time. She, along with her sister, has a nack for saving people, but she isn't a banshee, or a full banshee. We don't know yet.

"Heyy Blakeyy!" she slurred. I groaned.

"Ash, are you drunk?"

"Maaayybeee. Come to the Lake House." She squealed before hanging up. Rolling my eyes, I pulled on a black bress and pumps, and put on mascara and eyeliner. Grabbing a duffel bag, I threw in a black skater skirt, a tight turquoise Aztec print crop top and a turquoise beanie, along with my black leather jacket and undergarments. I'd just spend the night with Asher. Running down the stairs,  I slip out of the metal door and run to the Lake House. I begin to wonder if it's Lydia's or Asher's party. I walk inside to see a crowd of freshmen.

"Asher." I grumble, spotting the brunette girl.

"Blakey!" she giggles, coming over to hug me. I grin and hug her back. Latching my hand around her wrist, I pull her into the kitchen.

"Drink this." I hand her a bottle of water. She nods and drinks it.  Suddenly, she sets it down and hugs a boy with blonde hair and green eyes.

"Hey Garrett!"

"Asher." he chuckles as he pushes her off of him gently. I smile at him and take Asher's wrist again.

"Sorry about her.. I'm Blake."

"Garrett. You go to to Beacon?"

"I start tomorrow. Nice meeting you, but I gotta go." I wave at the boy and pull Asher upstairs to her room. Setting her on her bed, I get her a pair of pajamas out and toss them to her. She nods and changes in the bathroom.

"Sleep." I whisper as she climbs into bed. When I hear her heartbeat steady out, I slide out of my dress and heels and throw on a big sweater she had. Making a bed of blankets on the floor, I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

----<morning>----

"Asher, come on, wake up.. We gotta go to school.." I grumble, shaking her slightly. She groans but opens her eyes none the less. When she's sitting up, I disappear into the bathroom and take a quick shower, washing my hair and body, and shaving my legs and underarms. Slipping a towel around me, I go back to Asher's room to see her laying out an outfit.

"We have an hour.  Go shower and I'll call Stiles to pick us up." She nods and goes to shower. I head to my duffel and pull out my skater skirt, crop top and undergarments. Dressed, I sit at her vanity and borrow some of her make-up. Just mascara and eyeliner and blood red lip gloss. I leave my wavy jet black hair natural, adjust my turquoise beanie,  and slide on my black pumps from last night.

"Ready yet?" I yell to Asher.

"Putting my shoes on! Call Stiles!" she yells. Silently agreeing, I pull my phone from my pocket and dial Stiles' number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Stilinski, could you maybe come to the Lake House and drive Asher and I to school?"

"Sure, be there in five, see yah."

"Later." the line goes dead.

"He'll be here in five minutes Martin!" I turn around to see her right behind me. I jump and let out a scream.

"What the hell!" I shriek. She starts laughing.

"That is the ONE TIME you will ever scare me! Enjoy it while it lasts!" I state with a smile. She simply rolls her eyes.

"Come on. Grab your stuff." she motions to my backpack. I groan and make sure I have everything in it. I do, and we walk downstairs to wait on Stiles. He arrives in no time and we head off to school.

"So Blake.. Scott needs to talk to you when we get to school." I give him a confused look but agree. Scott is the best alpha I've ever met. Kind, considerate and actually believes most people are human, unlike Derek,  who attempts to kill every new person in this town.

We make it to the school and suddenly I'm really nervous. Asher notices.

"Come on Hale, it's just school. Nothing's gonna happen." She slightly nudges me out of the jeep. Taking a deep breath, I follow Stiles to Scott.

"Hey?" I greet him, unsure of what he needs. He looks down out me, me being shorter than both of them.

"We need a favor.." he trails off.

"Which is?" I move my hands in a circle, motioning him to continue.

"Get on the Lacrosse team today."

"What? No!"

"Please? C'mon you're like the strongest wolf we have! Please?" I groan.

"You're lucky we're friends." I grumble. They cheer and hug me. I stiffen, then hug back.

"But you have to tell Derek." I point at Scott.

"Done." he grins. I roll my blue eyes.

"I have to go get my schedule now. Later weirdos." I flash them a half smile before turning on my heels and following Asher to the front office. After collecting my  stuff, I make my way to my locker.

"Oh come on! I can't even open a stupid locker?!" I growl in frustration.

"Need some help?" I voice from behind me asks, startling me. I jump and turn around. Blue eyes meet mine.

"Um hi? You are?"

"Right! Sorry, I'm Liam Dunbar. You're Blake right? Asher's best friend?" Liam smiles. a grin spreads across my red lips.

"Yup, and to answer your question, yes I do need help. Open this for me?" I plead, handing him my combination. He gets it on the first try. I gawk at him.

"You suck." I playfully push his arm. After getting my notebooks and binders for first and second period, Liam and I walk together.

"So I haven't seen you around Beacon Hills before. You a transfer?" I question him, a curious look in my eyes. I see him tense.

"Uh..something.. like that." he answers.

"That was horribly vague. Penny for your thoughts?" I smile and hold up a penny. He chuckles and pockets it.

"Come with me." he takes my hand and leads me to a field, the Lacross field I'm guessing. Leading me up to the top row of bleachers, we sit down.

"I got kicked out of my last school, Davenford Prep., for trashing one of my teachers car. I was sent to anger management and they told me I had something called intermittent explosive disorder."

"You're an IED? So am I."

"Something to bond over." he smirks. I laugh and roll my eyes.

"Do you wanna maybe hang out later, after the  lacrosse scrimmage?" he asks, nervously. I grin and kiss his cheek.

"Sure. But here's a bigger kick in the ass, I'm on the lacrosse team too." he raises an eyebrow.

"Oh really? Gonna kick my ass at it?"

"Hells yeah I am! Never doubt a Hale sweetheart." I pat his cheek and stand up.

"Oh baby girl I think I am." I roll my eyes.
