The Cabin in the Woods

Part One: The Basement

My name is Ellie. I've had the worst expeirences in anyone's life. One night I stayed all night in a cabin with my friends Emma and kaelynn.  I was unpacking my clothes and noticed we had a cellar. "Kaelynn! Come check this out." Kaelynn walked into the room followed bye Emma. "We have a cellar! Let's check it out." "Uhmm.. maybe we shouldn't.." said kaelynn nervously. I opened the cellar and walked down the stairs. I noticed something strange... a " tsk tsk " noise. The cellar door slammed shut behind us... I started freaking out. I am chlosterphobic.  " Calm down Ellie we're gonna find a way out " said Emma with a shaky voice. We started walking deeper into the cellar the noise got louder and louder until finally we made it to the bottom and there was a small light. I finally seen what the noise was... It was a body hanging by the foot blood dripping from the mouth. I screamed in horror and curled up into a ball and cried... "Get Up!" Screamed kaelynn tugging at me. I smacked kaelynns hand and ran over to an old desk. I opened a cabinet and seen a book then grabbed it and ran up stairs. " Is that a book?" Asked Emma cautiously.  "WELL NO IT'S A FIRETRUCKING BOOK!" I tried to be calm but couldn't I had just seen a dead body. Do they really expect me to be calm? "Well sorry..." Emma said in a whisper. We just walked up the stairs in silence until we got to the top. The door was open! We could leave! We all started towards the door pushing one another aside. Finally we made it out.... traumatized forever. " Should we call the police?" The door slammed shut and we heard it lock. "Well I guess not..." said kaelynn.  I started looking in the book. It was written in a wierd languages "hmmm...

Yòng zhè jù huà nǐ shìfàng chū sǐ ." "Uhh what does that mean Ellie? " "how should I know?" The cabins lights  went dim and kaelynns eyes went black and she started shaking. " Kaelynn? Are you OK?" She looked over at Emma and grabbed her by the throat. Emma made a soft choking sound. "STOP! KAELYNN DON'T KILL HER!" I grabbed kaelynns hand and jerked them off of Emma's throat. "Just wait. Just wait JUST WAIT!" Exclaimed kaelynn and then her eyes went back to normal. " Kaelynn are you OK?" " Yah I think so...  what happened?" I explained it to her and she said it was probably the words I had said from the book. "But how.... they were just words. Haven't you ever heard the phrase sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me?" Asked Emma. " Well I don't know... maybe we should just leave." " No way! We've already made it this far... we have to figure out what's going on!" Said kaelynn quietly.  "CLANG CLANG CLANG!" It was something pounding on the cellar door... but from inside.  I grabbed the hunting rifle that was hanging on the wall... the weight was alot more than I thought it would be. We all started towards the cellar when the front door swung open slowly with a squaking sound. I turned around and what I saw was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. It's face look like it was tied in a knot with blood up and down it's body.. I fired my rifle and the bullet pierced it's leg. It stopped progressing forward and pulled the bullet out of it's leg and shoved it in it's head. It started to advance even more.  Something grabbed me from behind and made a weird humming noise.  Then I passed out. I awoke from my sleep with the twisty faced thing standing over me... humming. It sounded like "row row your boat." But I wasn't sure. I looked around and seen kaelynn and Emma both on gurnies smiling humming with the tune. I tried to scream but the tune of "row row row your boat. " came out... I thought to myself how could this happen.. why would this happen..  too me I've done everything I could for everyone and this is what I get in return. I looked at the monster and kicked it in it's face. My foot started to sink into his face.  I tried to pull it out but it kept sinking... I pulled one more time and it came out. HALF MY FOOT WAS GONE! I couldn't feel it at all but my foot was gushing out blood. My heart raced.  Thoughts flew through my mind at the speed of lighting and then my life flashed before my eyes. My child Hood...  my  (who died in a car crash.) My eyes fluttered to life. I lay there looking at the monster who was attaching a tube to my heart. He saved my life I thought. Then I looked over to the other side... there standing was a horrific creature... it had half of a head and a full smile.
