He approaches the end of the road when he spots three guys clearly older than him beating on a child at least 7 years younger than him for no reason a moral dilemma erupts inside his head does he either just keep walking and not do anything reducing his chances of being beaten up or go and help the kid resulting in him getting a beating worse than he had ever felt before, without thought or realisation he had already started approaching to group of hooligans who had at that point already beating the kid beyond recognition when Dan picks up a plank of wood that had been leaning up of the wall and smashed it over the head of the largest one of the group with enough force to split his skull open along the seams spraying his hot red blood all over the rest of the people that happened to be on the street corner at that very moment in time including the child that was still gasping for air after the beating.
At this point at least 12 to 15 people had gathered around Dan and the others but remained at a distance idly watching as a 15 year old boy viciously crushes the heads of 2 19 year old into a sloppy pulp sending brain matter into the air with every swing, Dan was in a state of total rage with all of the emotions that had been bottling up inside of him for fifteen years where finally being unleashed in a fit of pure unbridled violence until the trance is broken by the sounds of sirens in the distance slowly getting louder as the seconds go by...
