"She isn't yours to keep!" A woman shouted.
"Mom, I..." Avery said.
"Am I more important to you or that boy is?" The women argued.
"Mom, don't force me to do this! Please!" She knew that she had no choice and she knew that she must choose one to let go. She looked at the boy, Dylan. He stared at Avery with a worried look.
"I'm sorry Dylan, family always comes first." She said with tears in her eyes. She bit her lip to prevent herself from breaking down before her most loved ones in her entire life. Her mother managed a first smile in the conversation.
"That's my daughter. See, she doesn't even like you. You are nothing to her." The woman said delightfully.
"No! Please Avery! I am nothing without you." Dylan finally opened his voice, making a mark in this conversation, he knelt down and beg. The storm came bringing the rain along. He held his hand tightly, getting ready for a fight. He stood up, tears covering his face and at the time he was about to punch, he saw the look in Avery's eye. She was sorry but she had no choice about it. As Dylan lowered his hands, they exchanged a look telling each other that there is still hope for them.
"Bye Dylan." Avery said, looking away from her boyfriend— or ex-boyfriend's —tearing eyes.
"Let's go darling, you don't have to care about this stupid, idiotic creature." They walked away and disappeared in the fog, leaving Dylan alone in the rain. The storm started to get louder and the rain hit harder. He raised his head and a cunning smile casted over his face. He thought to himself, "This will not be over, it has just started..."
