Ch. 1 The Flashback And The Question

I was coloring and a boy was flicking some pencil shavings at me. I gave him the evil look "Can I help you?" He threw a marker at me this time.

I throw a crayon at him and then he threw scissors at me. The scissors got stuck in my chest. "Ahhhhh!!!!!" I screamed.

I fell on the floor making the scissors go in deeper."I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that. I just wanted to play." He said. The teacher called the ambulance.

He helps me up and helps me to the teachers desk."I'm Dylan." "I'm Hennessy but you can call me Veil"

He kissed my hand and says"Let's be friends. I'm so sorry about throwing scissors."

I nod and the ambulance gets here."Back up you guys" they carry me outside and I see Dylan peeking out the window.

They pull out the scissors and I scream out loud crying. It hurts so bad. I was bleeding out bad and I thought I was going to die.

Someone was snapping in my face

"Hello!!! Veil are you in there?" I play push him and say laughing"She's gone." He stops in front of me."What do you mean she's gone?"

I smile and say"She got stabbed with scissors" he sighed and said"That was the past and I told you 1000 times that I was sorry."

"I love you best-friend" I say laughing."I love you too" he said throwing me over his shoulders and carrying me somewhere in the park.

"Put me down Dylan!!!!" I yelled laughing. He puts me down and sits me down by a tree."If I asked you out what would your answer be?" He said getting on one knee.

I looked at him and smiled"I would think about it first." He looked upset and I asked"What's wrong?"

He looked into my eyes and I could tell he wanted to go out with me."Dylan I'll have to think about it ok?"

I get up and walk away. I want to go out with him but I don't want to ruin our friendship. I have to think about it first before making the decision.
