When I get downstairs, Sandy and Dawson are nowhere to be seen. I walk around the house and they aren't in there, so I go on the front porch and find them. Dawson is on a ladder painting the window sills, and Sandy is trimming her flower beds. I walk over to Sandy and stand beside her.

"Hey Olivia, are you okay now?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry about that. It was just my friend. Kind of stressful."

"Oh that's perfectly fine honey, what would you like to do first?"

"What needs to be done?"

"You could mow the lawn, vacuum the house, water my flowers, or help Dawson paint."

"I'll help Dawson paint I guess."

"Okay just go ask him what you can do, he already knows what needs to be done."

I make my way over to Dawson on the ladder and try not to scare him because it would be so funny to see him fall, but I don't really wanna get blamed for it.

"Hey Dawson, I'm gonna help you paint, what needs to be done?"

"Ummm you can do the steps and railings on the front of the porch."

"Where's the paint?"

"There's an extra gallon in the garage right on the work bench."

I walk over to the garage and grab the extra gallon of white paint and grab a stirrer and go on the front steps. I take the lid off the paint and stir it up. When the paint is all mixed, I get up and grab a paintbrush from the garage and go back to the steps and start to paint. After a little bit, Sandy tells us we're done for the day so I clean up the paint and brush and stirrer then go inside to wash my hands.

"Hey Olivia! What did you get painted?"

"Oh hey Sandy! I finished the steps and railings."

"Great! I think we're gonna have a pizza for supper. What kind do you like?"

"Cheese or pepperoni. I'm gonna go take a shower."

"Okay honey! Dawson and I will go pick up a pizza and you should be out by then."

"Kk!"

I make my way upstairs and go in my room for some clothes to change into and notice my phone beeping. Usually it only beeps more than once if I have a lot of messages or notifications... I walk over to the bedside table and pick it up.

3 texts and 5 notifications.

I guess I'll check the notifications first. The first one is from Instagram, the second one is from Wattpad, and the third one is from Facebook. I clear all my notifications and check my texts.

Two from Cory and one from Samantha. I go in my pj drawer and grab some plaid shorts and a pink tank top and grab my phone and go in the bathroom. My phone is waterproof, so I'll just bring it in the shower with me. I take my clothes off and hop in the shower and reply to my texts.
