Kalen hates wolves. Especially this one. He was lanky and a little nervous. But his happiness overshadowed it. He had a bright smile and when he saw food his smile grew even bigger. His name was Seth.
"So like... you have powers?" Seth asked all nonchalant as he shoved his 24th hot dog in his mouth.
Kalen cringed.
"Yeah I can control things and people...." he said as he took a sip of blood that Carlisle's wife, Esme had kindly brought him.
"Oh so like what does that mean?" Seth asked with a weird dumb puppy expression on his face
Kalen rolled his eyes.
"It means if I wanted to I could break all your bones in an instant just by thinking in my mind that I want to!" Kalen snapped
"Oh..." he said look sullen. Suddenly he brightened up again, "Cool!"
He shoved another hot dog in his mouth and Kalen scoffed and got up to move about the house.
Seth who got up after him followed him.
"Seriously?" Kalen snapped
"Sorry but alphas orders!" Seth said, "Jake doesn't trust you enough to be by yourself!"
"Who cares what this Jake thinks" Kalen growled.
"I do!" Seth said with much more enthusiasm that was needed, "he's my alpha. I'm apart of his pack."
"Ahh so you follow him like a little bitch?" Kalen said with a smirk
Seth frowned.
"Didn't you follow people back then?" He asked
"Oh no sweet abby you misunderstood. They followed me"

It's not that Kalen hated the boy. No it was that he most definitely despised him. He wouldn't leave him alone. And he kept asking questions.
"So your mate? What's he like?" Seth asked
"He's an arrogant bastard who I hope to one day rip his heart out. Why?" Kalen asked as he looked up from the book he was reading
"Jake told me that you would protect him if there was a bloodshed!" Seth said confused, "but you want to kill him as well?"
"I won't let anyone else take that pleasure away from me!" Kalen said, "what about you? Who's your mate?"
"Oh I don't have one. But when I meet my imprint I know she'll be the one for me." He said with a dreamy look in his eyes.
"You mean he?" Kalen said
At this point happy Seth turned into Panicked Seth. He looked at Kalen.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Seth said clearing his throat
