Chapter 1: Phoenix Knows?!

It was a Thursday night, Abel was out on a date with Evie which left Jaime and I looking after little Phi Phi and Sam.

Lilith: Okay Phoenix time for bed!
Phoenix: Hm okiii but will you read me one of grandma's stories?!
Lilith: Okay fineeeee! (Calling) UNCLE JAIME CAN YOU COME AND GET SAMMY PLEASE?
Jaime: Yeah sure sweetheart *chuckles*
Phoenix: hurry hurry I'm tired 😫
Lilith: maybe it's best that you go straight to bed then honey?
Phoenix: NO!!!
Lilith: oh alright..

I've recently discovered that Phoenix has a slight high temper. No wonder.. her grandfather was a former criminal and hot head and her insane mother abandoned her.. the poor girl.

I then realised that cute little Phi Phi was fast asleep. I snuck into mine and Jaime's room and hopped into bed. Jaime walked in, looking exhausted.

Lilith: was Sam okay going to bed?
Jaime: yup he's fast asleep now 😅
Lilith: gosh it's almost 9pm.. Abel said he'd be back by 8 I'm starting to get worried bubba..
Jaime: don't worry Lily I'm sure he's fine!
Lilith: I guess...
Jaime: I love you Lily Bear..
Lilith: I love you too.

*3 AM*
Phoenix: LILITH LILITH LILITH WAKE UP IM SADDDDDDDDD.
Lilith: ugh Phoenix is that you?
Phoenix: NO ITS JAIME! YES ITS ME SILLY!!
Lilith: Phoenix I've got a missi- I mean work tomorrow morning I need to get some sleep, please go see your dad?
Phoenix: THATS THE PROBLEM DUMMY!! DADDY ISNT HOME STILL! And.. MUMMY'S DOWNSTAIRS!
Lilith: WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? HOW DID SHE GET IN?!?!
Phoenix: She told me that Daddy invited her round.. BUT DADDY ISNT HERE!
Lilith: so you... let... ASHLEY IN THE HOUSE?!

There was only one thing I could do.. but I couldn't let anyone see..

Lilith: Jaime, you stay here with Phoenix and Sammy, I'll go deal with Ashley..

I tiptoed into mum and dads old room and got out my bracelet.. I knew that the boss told me not to use it at home.. but this WAS an emergency..

Lilith: UMM shouldn't you be with Uncle Jaime?..
Phoenix: he told me I could pick a movie from grandma and grandpa's room to watch whilst we wait for you..
Lilith: oh..

I covered her mouth.

Lilith: Ethan is my personal assistant aka my bracelet.. you see.. when grandpa left.. he told me to take over his business... as the new leader of the flaming ferrets..
