Alright! Oh boy! Good job everybody. Now welcome. Welcome, welcome to the 200th birthday of Gotham! I am pleased to announce that today, the city’s crime rates are at an all time low!
All
Yay! (Everyone then proceeds to start shooting guns into their air)
“Yeah, I don’t think that will help with crime rates,” Dick said.
Gordon
Still the highest in the world, but we’re working on it! And we owe it all to our beloved Dark Knight, which is why we are gathered here today to honor him with the key to the city!
All
Yay! (Ones of the citizens grabs a giant key)
Gordon
Yeah, where is that key? (Goes to citizen with the key) Oh, I’ll trade ya’! (Takes key, gives her his gun) To present the key, we have a very special guest all the way from Metropolis. So everybody get pumped because he’s a big hero and-( Woosh!) What was that?!
“Metropolis?” Dick asked. “Who lives there?”
Bruce groaned, and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Superman,” he grumbled.
Pizza Girl
It’s an attack!
Citizen
We’re doomed!
Shopkeeper
Protect the woman and children!
All
Ahhh! (They begin to run around screaming) (Batman is than seen in his plane)
Batman
Hahahaha! Striking terror! Best part of the job!
“That’s a horrible thing to say Bruce,” Dick said, chuckling.
Gordon
(They are all huddled together) Oh! Look up there in the sky! Oh that’s just Batman in his plane!
All
Phew! (Wipe their foreheads)
Gordon
Oh he got us again with another good natured prank.
“I didn’t know he citizens of Gotham were so slow,” Dick grumbled. This time he received a smack from not only Bruce, but Alfred as well.
