Ding, dong. Ding, dong.
"Rise and shine students!" Monokuma yelled, "I have prepared your prize for surviving yesterday's trial! Also, I have gone ahead and added the motive. Now, head to the dining room!"
Prize? Motive?
I pulled myself out of bed. You would think that the nightmare that was yesterday would've contributed to a night with no sleep, but I just wanted to day over so badly that I practically forced myself into a deep slumber.
Alex, Stark, Winston, and Steve. All of them had died in this twisted game. What was even more twisted was that I was somewhat... glad. I felt that everyone would be too scared to kill again since it didn't pan out well for the others. Was I thinking normally? Either way I felt disgusting, no better than the killers, no better than Monokuma.
As I stood up in my room, I scratched my head and felt something other than my fingers touch my head. I looked at my hand and saw a sleek black bangle wrapped tightly around my wrist. The top of the design was a screen that was blank.
What is this?
At first I tried to take it off but it was useless. It felt like I was trying to take off my actual hand. Nothing about it showed any function to take it off.
Ding, dong. Ding, dong.
"Didn't you guys hear me! I said go the the dining hall!" Monokuma yelled angrily.
He is probably behind this. I better go to the dining hall in order to see what this is about.
I got myself ready and exited my room. Waiting outside was Dane, Julius, and Lorellai. The first thing I noticed about all three of them was that they all had the same type of bangle I had.
"Good morning," I said with my gruff morning voice.
"Morning," Julius replied.
"Hi," Lorellai greeted.
"Yeah, hi-" Dane was cut off by himself when he noticed my bangle, "you too, huh?"
"Yeah... What do you think it is?" I asked.
"Monokuma's doing, obviously," Lorellai said, "this is either the prize, or the motive he mentioned in the morning announcement."
"I fail to see how this is a prize, or a motive," Julius butted in.
"We'll find out in the dining hall," Lorellai said with a stern tone before leaving the dorms.
"We better get going," Dane said, following Lorellai out of the dorms. Julius and I soon exited and went over to the dining hall.
When I arrived, there were only a handful of students already there so we had to wait. As students entered, I noticed that they all had the same bangle. The rest of the students came in one by one, until eventually everyone was there.
"Okay, everyone is here," Amelia announced while I bit into a slice of toast.
"Where is that black and white bastard?" Dane muttered.
