Arc 1: Chapter 2-3: Magic Academy of Archaia Empire

Vanessa entered the school entrance and some students were staring at her.

[ Oh! Look at her! She's so beautiful and also powerful, an ideal girl indeed! ]

[ On top of that, she's also the 27th Princess! ]

Admiration of the students can be heard within the hall.

Vanessa smiled to them and greeted them properly.
Afterwards, she started walking towards her classroom.

While she's walking, a female student with a "President" written on her shoulder said something to her.
Vanessa and her stopped at each other.

[ Vanessa, we will talk about the Magic Academy Test later in the Council Room, I hope you find your top five members to pass the test. You know what happens when you fail right?
You will marry the 21st Prince of Deguvech Family. ]

She smiled.

[ Goodluck with the Magic Academy Test, Princess Vanessa. If you somehow manage to pass, I swear in my life that I will let you free. Please don't direct your anger on me, all I do is follow the order of the Royals. I can be you enemy, at the same time, also your ally.
I'm looking for the result you'll achieved. Well then, Princess, see you later. ]

She then left and Vanessa's face was covered with fear and anxiousness.
She's feeling a little bit relieved if she passed, but she's more terrified if she somehow failed.

Some students stared at her and wondering what happened.

The bell rang and caught all student's attention.

All students went to their designated classes but Vanessa was still standing, until she was the only one left in the hallway.

"I don't want to get married!"
"I don't want to get married by that old man!"
"Someone, please help me!"

Vanessa thought. Those statement kept on repeating on Vanessa's head.

But she was not alone in the hallway, a student from her back tapped her.

[ Don't worry Vanessa, we will pass test for sure! ]

She said on a cheering tone.

[ Sister Sofia? ]

[ Correct, it's your Sister Sofia to the rescue! ]

Vanessa hugged her and cried.

[ Don't worry Vanessa, we won't let their plan go as they expected! ]

[ Thank you, Sister Sofia. ]

Now that is done, let's go back to our own classes, okay? 

"Like I'll let you bully my little sister any longer! I'll protect her no matter what!"
"But when you look at her, she looks tough, but she's a crybaby inside."
"I'm just glad that she's expressing her true emotions at me. It feels like I'm kind of special to her"

Sofia thought, she smiled and went to her own class.

"That's right, I can't be frighten right now! If I can't escape the test, then I'll just pass it!
I can't keep running away forever!"

Vanessa went to her class which is Class A-3, the third most respectable class within the school.

The door opens and the instructor went in.

[ Good Morning everyone. ]

The instructor said on a lazy tone.

The students where a bit curious. They stood up and greeted their intructor. 

[ Good Morning too, Instructor Aurora. ]

[ You may now seat. For today, because I'm not feeling well, class will be dismissed earlier. However, I will explain some details for the upcoming Magic Academy Test to give you an insight on how can you prepare. ]

Everyone seated.

[ For today's topic, we will discuss about Magic Levels. ]

"Magic Levels? No wonder why I always hear it from the Royal Guards."
"But that doesn't really made me curious in a way so I just ignored them."

Vanessa thought.

[ This might be your first time hearing this so listen carefully, after this I discuss this one, I will assign Intructor Grayson to do the hands-on. ]

"So their basically preparing us for the test huh?"

[ Magic Levels are used for estimating the power of a certain Magic Skill used. For example, if I use a basic Skill that anyone can do which is sense, I'll call it a 6th tier Magic. As the number goes down, the Magic's power increases.
5th Tier are the basic magic that you saw when you were still on the Magic Academy.
4th Tier magic are used combat. Mostly, they only use 6th Tier, but most of the Chief used 4th Tier.
3rd Tier Magic are used by Professionals or a Celestial User.
2nd Tier Magic are for the Gods of Element and Criptical, they are seen as the leader of a certain area. Their power alone is enough to destroy a country or two.
1st Tier Magic are used by the Guardians. They are the only one whose power exceeds the Gods itself and only chosen one every one million years. ]

All students were focused and didn't sway their eyes on the instructor.
The topic was so interesting that they didn't even thought of doing anything like taking down notes.

[ Remember everyone, does not mean that you are a Water Element User, you will automatically counter a Fire Element User. If you're not careful, the Fire Element User might beat you on Magic Level and immediately vaporize your Water. But a same level Magic will always beat a countered Element. For example, if I used a 3rd Tier Fire Magic and the opponent uses a 4th Tier Water Magic, I will vaporize the Water, but If I used the same level which is 4th Tier Magic, my Fire will eventually went out. ] 

[ This is a very important note for all student because the Test is coming up soon.
We need the best Magic User there is to defend the Empire.
Of course, whoever class wins will get a reward, and that reward is secret until the Test day. ]

[ I'm not feeling well so that's all for me today, take care and bring out good result for Instructor Grayson. ]
