A girl was sitting alone at home, texting her friends. She was scared, she heard constant knocking every night, she would check her windows, nothing, she would check the door, nothing. Suddenly while texting, the internet and the lights went out.

"There must have been a blackout," she thought, but when she looked out the window the lights we're on in every other house, building, shop, etc. Her home was the only one, the only thing without power.

"WHOOOSHHHH!" she heard come from behind.

"Who's there!" she hollard, no answer. She chose to stay in her room, but the noises kept getting louder, became consistent.

"CREEEEAAAAKKKKK!" she heard as she saw the door open. She screamed.

The next day her parents came home. They had tried sending their daughter a text saying they would be early coming home. She never replied never, never even saw the text, it wouldn't go through. Upon opening the door, they called out to her.

"SAM! We're home early!" no reply. They checked her room only to see it empty, as though no one had been in there for years. They asked her friends if they had seen her.

"Have any of you seen or talked to Sam recently?" they had been gone for a week, they we're supposed to be away for two.
"Sam? Who's Sam?" they asked.

"Your friend, our daughter," the father replied with worry lacing his voice.

"We're sorry Mr. Gray but we've never met anyone named Sam, and you and Mrs. Gray we're never able to conceive, you never had any children." They received the same response from each and every person they asked. No one remembered her.

15 Years Later

Mr. Gray was sitting at home, his wife had died of grief 14 years earlier. He sat alone still trying to figure out what had became of Sam that fateful day 15 years ago. He had been hearing sounds for the last week or so, today he heard a voice.

"Dad! I'm still here! Save me!" He heard this for the coming days as well. One day he chose to finally give up, believing the rumours the neighbours spread of him having lost his mind. He was about to go to bed when he heard a noise, louder and more consistent than before. The door slowly creaked open.

"CCCCCCCCRRRRRRREEEEEAAAAKKKKK!"
