Although she already seemed to be a little tipsy, she still looked graceful, the way she was holding the Tequilabottle in one hand and holding on to the swing with her other hand. I heard someone playing a guitar in the background. It was warm outside. Lana was wearing a mint-colored polkadot dress, complimenting the weather and the vibe coming from it. Both of our swings seemed to have come to a natural halt, because we weren't paying so much attention to the actual swinging. "Well, this is oddly romantic", I said with a shy smile on my face. She looked up at me, through really thick lashes (I wondered if those are lash-extensions - this is what having a sister has made me) and she burped. The tiniest burp I have ever heard. Her face flushed with shame. She backed off a little and stuttered: "Oh- oh my God. I'm so sorry. I hate when people do that. I just couldn't help myself." Her hand was brushing my knee.
"I must seem so disgusting to you right now. And you'll gonna have to kiss me eventually", she said, forgetting where her hand was at. "Oh yeah? Why is that?", I asked, trying to hide a grin. "Oh, you mean Lara Jean", I said and laughed. She squeezed my knee: "To prove you that I'm not a gross pig, I'm going to show you the opposite". She stood up from the swing, knelt in front of me, then looked up while making puppy eyes at me. Why can faces look this cute? That's so unfair. "Okay, okay", I said and realized that I've been grinning quite a while, because my cheeks hurt a little bit from the mussle usage that had occurred (yeah, I know, sometimes I like to describe things in complicated sentences). "Shit, I think I'm a little drunk", she said.
She sat back down on her swing, and did that thing where she smiles with her eyes so much, that it gives you the illusion of a real smile. Her facial expressions are just crazy cool. "I always new you were a cute girl", I said, getting up from my swing and turning around to Lana. The way she looked at me did something crazy to my brain. And apparently my loins, too.
