((Authors Note: this is just something I have wanted to do for a while, also I'm just writing this as I go with a story line somewhere so sorry for anything confusing or grammar errors))

Eren sat up after a moment from
aggressive ringing, reaching over drowsily and killing the sound. Fawn lighting came through the curtains, exposing the dust. After a minute of sitting like that he got up preparing to get ready.
-
I sprinted down the stairs and grabbed my school bag.
"Bye mom!" I yelled, voice echoing around the new house. Mom answered back, finishing the morning ritual.

I ran to the nearest bus stop, shoes skittering on the sidewalk as I went , and didn't stop tell I was there. There was a group of people .
"Armin" I called a greeting, looking at him. Armin turned around and returned the greeting, before adding
"You're late Eren, again"
I bristled with annoyance.
"My alarm was set late" I answered back defensively. Armin rolled his eyes at my excuse.
"Hey Eren!" Yipped a voice from behind, slapping my back. It caught me off guard I could admit that.
"Connie stop doing that" I snapped half heartedly. Connie put his hands up and gawked,
"Scary"
I relaxed being surrounded by friends and less worrying about the fact I might have missed the bus. When it did pull up everyone piled on, finding empty seats to sit with friends or so on.  I wasn't as lucky as some others and ended up sitting by some girl. In the back of my mind I was surprised that she wasn't sitting with anyone else.

I spent the ride silent unlike the majority of the rest of the people there. and ended up listening to some music to pass the time.

There was a stop in time though, Things where a blur. The bus swerved to the side and into another lane of cars. There where loud banging sounds as people screamed in terror. My vision changed as everything tipped to the side,  I reached forward and held onto the seat in front of me in a death grip. Whoever beside me wasn't there anymore. Thoughts where blank. Tell everything fell silent for a second, the bus was laying on its side and I wasn't on my seat anymore but instead awkwardly forced into a corner.  Glass was shattered layering everything as some struggled to escape, other where frozen in horror, and others, dead still.  I forced myself to get up gasping as I felt glass pierce deeper into my flesh, blood oozing out of the wounds, clothing torn from the glass.
"Shit" I hissed, pain jabbing my side and every burning scrape. I looked up and saw a shape perched on the side of the seat, it took my eyes a moment to process it was the same girl. Blood ran down the seat from where she was sitting.
'Where's everyone?' The thought came to me and I shuffled to be able to see the area. I managed to get a glimpse of a familiar shape and rushed over the seats to get there, or at least as quickly as I could.
"Armin" I managed through my clenched jaw.
No response. I felt dread fill my bloody chest but then saw the slight rise and fall. People where climbing though the doors and windows, anything that let them out of this hell. I felt the presence of someone next to me and looked over. The same person. She looked at Armin and opened up her backpack, she brought out a sweatshirt and put it over the body. Then looked at me, grey eyes glinting with cold emotion.
"If you have a sweatshirt put it on" She commanded, then slowly lifting him up. Blood had pulled under him, and as I looked down I noticed the same was for me. As if carrying a child she carried Armin to the ceiling hatch. Forcing aside some other unlucky people. I followed, not daring to look at the people staring at desperately. She pulled him out and for the first time I got to see what was going on. I wish I didn't. Cars where piled up, flipped over, completely destroyed between larger vehicles. I choked in horror. The girl carrying the unconscious Armin retreated to the sidewalk, climbing over some debris. She laid him down when she had a clear enough area. She pulled off her school bag and scavenged through her bag
"Aid kit-" She growled tell she was finally able to pull it out. She pulled out a box of medical alcohol swaps and napkin like equipment then handed me some inside the box.
"Clean your wounds" She instructed then pulled out a box of bandages. I felt stupid I had always said no whenever mom mentioned bringing some medical supplies.
She began cleaning Armins wounds , then her own. I opened the bag and started cleaning the stinging scratches, and cussed under my breath as it made it all burn worse. We sat there for a moment. I noticed Armin's eyes flutter open. She seemed to notice before me.
"Hello"
He sat up slowly, grabbing his head I guessed a headache had just hit him, which was confirmed when he let out a groan from the pain. His unusually blue eyes scanned them questioningly.
"We need to get out of here"
Armin's eyes landed on the raven girl,
"Mika,, what are you doing here?" He mumbled. I felt a light stir of surprise that he knew her , or maybe he was mistaking her for someone else.
"The bus flipped over, I saw one of your friends and ended up seeing who I can help." So her name is Mika.
"So your name is Mika?" I butted in.
"Mikasa" she corrected, looking back at me then looking back at my friend. His eyes where wide and hand had dropped.
"W-What?" He stammered, his voice high from terror.
Mikasa looked up and around before ducking again
"We need to get out of here. Can you both walk well?" I nodded and Armin slowly nodded as he sat up, flinching. I sat up to, feeling every scratch.
