Have you ever found a boy so attractive that you can't help but stare? The one that's so close but so far from your reach? The one you think about all day, after he helped you with something. That boy that makes you smile from a distance, and the one you want to make yours, but you can't because you know they will never like you? You can imagine all the cute dates that you guys go on, and how much he'd make you happy, but in reality you know that'll never come?
From far distance, he's popular, and you aren't? yet your okay with that.
Well let me tell you about my story.
My names Jenny, and I Want to tell you about how I fell in love with this guy named Henry.
It all started in Middle school, when I was eleven years old and I fell for this soccer boy called Henry. Nice guy, dark brunette hair, blue eyes, very tall, about 6'3. Nice physique. Perfect chin. What every girl called, "the perfect guy." He had many friends, good family, and was rich too. Not to mention, his parents own this big company.
He played soccer, and was the goal keeper. He had that pretty white smile that made all the girls fall for him, even me.. Now normally, I wouldn't be into guys like him, honestly, I would be into guys who were smart, kind, and loved to play video games like me. Call me a nerd, but I don't care.
Now, I'm not known as a popular girl. I was more of the quiet kid, the one that would play video games, hang out with a few people, and go on about my day. I had brunette hair, with curls on the sides. My eyes were dark brown, and I had a weird "girly." faze in my time. Not really liked by everyone. I was a bit on the chubby side, with big thighs. I was bullied by people and only had three close best friends, who I loved to hang out with. Shane, my best friend from Elementary. Emily, who I loved to hang out with since third grade, and Kimberly who I recently met. I was cool with the popular girls for a while..until I met Henry.
Now, how I met Henry is a weird thing. I was sitting at the soccer field, playing on my DSI with my three friends, Shane, Emily, and Kimberly, when a soccer ball flew and hit me straight on the forehead. I dropped my DSI and couldn't even save the level that I was on.
Now, everyone on the soccer team laughed at me, but I was sad, not sad at the fact that the ball hit my head, but sad at the fact that I couldn't save the game I was playing. I touched my forehead as I was in pain, while my friends asked me If I was okay. I looked at them and said "yeah" before I saw him. Running across the field over towards me, asking me how I was.
"Hey, are you okay?" Henry chuckled a bit, before reaching his hand out towards mine.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." I said, gazing into his eyes, lost in awe. I could feel my heart skip a beat, as my cheeks turned bright, pink. My hair was over my eyes, but I tucked it over my ears.
"That ball hit you pretty hard huh." Henry smiled bright, before patting my head.
Before he left, I dusted myself off, and smiled for the first time in a while. "No, it didn't hurt. I'm fine."
"I'm glad you didn't get hurt. " Henry chuckled once more "I'm Henry, by the way. What's your name?"
"Single...I-I mean, Jenny! I'm Jenny, ha.." I hit myself on the head, thinking "stupid"
"Oh, ha. Well, nice to meet you Jenny. I'll catch you around" Henry said before running to the direction of where the ball went, as his friends were calling his name.
"Alright, alright! I'm coming." Henry said before running back to the soccer field, with the ball. Kicking it to his teammates.
That was how it all started. That's when I had a crush on a guy who will later on break my heart...
