1990
Imperials, a mutation among society, blessed with various gifts, qualities that made them unique, even exotic for others. Their possibilities seemed endless, they were almost considered as terrenal gods. Some where fascinated by them, but others were afraid.
Cause they knew the disadvantage human race faced against them.
Several political debates took place along the years, there were defenders of Imperials,of course; but in the end, humanity did what it knows best.
Eradicate anything or anyone that is different to what's already established, even in the slightest bit.
Parents, children, elders, whole entire families were slaughtered in cold blood, 1990 would be a ghost, something that would hunter humanity till the very end. It would be remembered in history books, taught in school to make future generations subconsciously aware of what would happen if Imperials were a part of society once more.
The Imperial Massacre would never be forgotten, remembered as the day humanity was free of the abomination of Imperiums. All the cold blood killers would be remembered as patriots, heroes who saved us from a deathly threat.
As for the Imperiums... the government made sure they were forgotten, they destroyed or classified every single piece of evidence that pointed out that Imperiums existed not so long ago.
Politicians made sure that for the rest of the world they'll be nothing more than something to read out in class, something that they did not know much of. Like Egyptians or Romans, a distant, faded memory inside people's minds. Future generations would never truly understand what was the struggle of Imperiums and what it was like to live with the constant, paralyzing fear and paranoia of getting killed.
No one will ever understand what it was like to step outside your house feeling uncertain of your very own steps simply because it could be your last steps.Your last breath of fresh air.
Eventually, the government got exactly what they wanted as with time, the Imperial Ages were nothing else but one of the many events you study in class but never really know much about.
So, while the whole world forgot about Imperiums, their loved ones mourned them, missed them every day and were forced to suffer their loss in silence. Since politicians made sure they never legally existed. They destroyed birth certificates and anything that belonged to them, so for their families and friends it was hard since they never existed.
You could not go to the cemetery and put flowers under their grave, because they didn't had one. Imperiums were buried on a secret place, closed to the public and thought to be abandoned.
But that place hid the awful secrets society tried its best to keep buried underground.

A pair of Spanish twins was born in a modest household. As both parents had decided they wanted a domestic childbirth. Since the father of the twins was a recognized doctor.
Most people thought they were insane, since a domestic childbirth implied a lot of risks, but they knew it would be more intimate if they received their children in their own home.
Emilio and Ivan Martinez; were finally born at 2:30 a.m on May 10th, their mother held the oldest newborn, Emilio; cradling the little boy around her arms; the young mother smiled warmly at his son, trying his best to fight the tears from falling, but not succeeding in the slightest bit as a single tear fell and traveled down her cheek.
The blue eyed baby smiled toothlessly and reach out his hand to come in touch with his mother's soft, fair skin.
His tiny fingertips barely touched the lonely tear that came out of the woman's eye, but even with such delicate touch. The newborn evaporated the salty tear.
His bright blue orbs switched colors as they were now a vibrant shade of orange.
Marisol stared at her son in shock and the boy, not understanding the fear inside the blonde woman giggled at her mother being stunned by his gift.Emilio stretched out his small palms to the roof and small trickles of fire came out of his bare hands, the baby was enjoying himself, playing around harmlessly and giggling joyous. Marisol did not know what to think anymore. Should she be scared that the government could come after his oldest newborn? Or should she be fascinated by the beautiful scene?
When looking deep into his son's eyes she knew she had nothing to be afraid of, at least now. She inevitably laughed at the thought of the little baby who was displaying his powers to make an impression to her mother, even when they've seen and known each other for only a few hours.
Slowly, the orange shade faded within his eyes, revealing then again his natural blue eyes.Ivan was finally grabbed around his mother's embrace. The baby stared at the woman in awe, absorbing the new identity of this new person who felt familiar in some sort of way. He clumsy grazed her nose with one hand and stopped just to stare at her, Ivan sucked on his thumb, his eyes half closed, he stretched himself out a little, to-later on- slowly turn to the side and fell asleep when he laid his head on her mother's chest and her steady heartbeats worked as a lullaby to him.
Emilio imitated his brother's action as he decided to snuggle up against her tender skin, both twins ended up falling asleep as they were sheltered in her mother's warm embrace.
Both parents looked at each other worriedly, not knowing how to act or what to do. The revelation hit them as if cold water was poured upon them, a death silence filled the room as chills run down the spine of both parents sadly understood what this meant.
The imperial race was no longer extinct as everyone thought, their child represented the survival of a struggling class.
A living hope for the imperiums; with this in mind they inevitably wondered if the imperial race would be extinct at all...
