Ciel’s POV
I rolled in my bed and groaned slightly. I felt like I was sleeping on a bed of needles. I sighed and sat upwards. “Sebastian,” I muttered for my butler but then froze. What… I touched my throat. What was wrong with my voice, what was this strange accent? I sounded so unlike myself.
“Sebastian? Well I suppose he must be better than Tamaki,” a voice called. I opened my eyes; a young woman was at the doorway. This wasn’t my room- what kind of place was this? The young woman smiled.
“What the bloody hell are you doing in my room?” I shrieked. She looked a bit surprised.
“Now Haruhi, that isn’t any way to talk to your daddy! Now, I’m going to work but you take care of those errands,” the woman smiled and left. Daddy? That woman was only enough to be my mother, if she was alive… I got up and frantically looked for a mirror. What the hell was happening? I found one and nearly screamed. I found myself staring face to face with a girl with short hair and brown eyes. I twitched and closed my eyes. No point in freaking out. Now, until Sebastian could save me, I would need to adapt to this new life. I looked around, it was not as elegant as my manor but there were creations here I’ve never seen before. Carefully and calmly I walked to the girl’s closet and winced. A cross-dresser… I bit my lip and then became serious once again.
“No matter! I shall save this girl the shame of being found out as a cross-dresser, I shall save her the last of her dignity and find a way to dress her like a girl from these lowlife clothes,” I swore to myself as I got to work choosing a proper outfit for a lady.
Somewhat over a century earlier…
Haruhi’s POV
I lay in my bed, somehow sleeping on the floor suddenly made me feel like I was sleeping on a bed of roses, or even a cloud. “Young Master, it is time to begin the day and the to-do-list is laid out,” a voice called. I turned in my bed before realizing- someone was in my room!
I shot up in my bed, automatically throwing a pillow at the figure and demanding, “Get out of my room!” As soon as the words left me, I froze. My room looked like the one of royalty, my voice was the one of a British boy, and there was a British butler at the foot of my bed, holding the pillow I threw. His eyes were red and he smiled.
“Yes, my young lord. The chores; however, won’t just disappear while you catch up on your beauty sleep,” the butler reminded me, turning to leave. I stayed frozen. What the…
“I bet this is Hikaru’s and Kaoru’s idea of a joke,” I muttered One of their more planned out pranks I’ll give them that, but I wasn’t going to fall for it. I sighed and looked around. Rich people and their money… as if they didn’t have anything better to do. I grabbed the clothes the Butler had laid out on the bed and flinched. I knew I was short compared to Tamaki and Kyoya, but did they really expect this small eighteenth century outfit to fit me. I scoffed and put it on anyways. Surprisingly, it fit. I then put on my shoes and walked out.
“Morning Young Master,” two guys called as I passed by- Honey and Mori I bet. After all, the one with orange hair had a baby face. The one with red eyes must’ve been Kyoya with contacts. I nodded in their direction as I found my way to the kitchen. Must’ve been at Kyoya’s place… Finally, I found my way while a red-haired maid tries to stack the plates. She nearly fell, but caught her balance at last minute.
“You should really be more careful- here, let me help,” I told her, climbing onto the counter and helping her put the plates away. She froze.
“But young master, that is my job,” she protested as I put the rest away for her, minus a kettle I found.
“Nice kettle, mind if I use it to make me some tea. Of course, it’s sort of rude of me to ask, but will you please show me where you keep the tea?” I asked, turning my head to her with a smile.
“Young master, your eyes!” she gasped, taking a step off the ladder.
“Yea, I got them from my father,” I touched my cheek, “Now; if you show me where the tea is I promise to share with you as well.” She nodded and grabbed the tea, giving it to me. I quickly prepared it in the kettle and as she laid out two cups. I smiled and poured them, taking one cup for me and giving her one. She stared at me oddly as I drank it, though she drank some quickly as well- as if trying not to be rude.
“May-Rin, have you seen the young mas-“Kyoya asked as he came in, dressed like the British butler. The maid froze.
“Aye, Sebastian! I thought you knew he was here,” the maid got up and bowed, apologetically. Kyoya face-palmed and sighed.
“May-Rin, why don’t you go check on Pluto,” Kyoya ordered the maid. She nodded and ran off. Then, Kyoya leaned across the table to study me.
“I got to admit, the twin’s prank has become pretty elaborate,” I smiled at Kyoya.
“So you really aren’t my young master,” he muttered and then grabbed me by the shirt, as the guys at the beach did before throwing me in the water, “That must mean they are with those twins you speak of. Now tell me, who are they.”
“Come on Kyoya, you wouldn’t hurt me- what use would that be to you?” I smiled slightly. Kyoya chuckled slightly and his eyes began to glow… wait, contacts don’t glow!
“Whoever Kyoya is, he might not. However, I am not this Kyoya you speak of, I am Sebastian Michaelis. And I am simply one hell of a butler,” he chuckled as his grip tightened… I looked down at my half drunken tea. My hair was as short as it usually was but blue like my eye… and one eye was purple… with the mark of the devil… what the heck was happening, who was I?!
