18. you are my reason why i'm still fighting

"donghyuck." you knelt to level him and opened your arms for a hug, "i'm so so sorry, i shouldn't have left you, i should've let you in, i'm sorry."

you could feel that his body is freezing cold so you gave warmth with that hug, hoping it could help.

after the long warm hug, you carried him by his arm around your shoulders and went inside, he's so weak and all because of you.

you made him sit on the sofa and told him to wait for you. you made a hang over soup since he's blatantly drunk and for at least he could regain his strength.

donghyuck stood up while you were on the kitchen, he missed the surrounding, the scent of your house.

and when he got to the kitchen and saw your back that resulted him to smile, he doesn't need something to eat anymore, making things go back as what they were before is all his strength.

he walked towards and wrapped his arms around your waist resulting you to jolt and before he say, "i miss this."

you wanted to be happy because of what he is doing but you just can't, knowing that his wedding's today. you're just doing your thing, hoping that would be your last.

"hyuck just wait there, this is almost done." you said which donghyuck nodded to and started walking to the dining area.

you made the soup and a ramen that donghyuck happily ate. that's surprising by him, you made him eat, the thing everyone never did successfully.

donghyuck woke up with you beside him, in the same room, the room he left that time, the room he missed.

"hey, hyuck, you finally woke up, good morning." you said with a warm smile.

"y/n, i want to stay here." he told you.

"no, you should do this, don't ditch your bride, your wedding's today." you replied trying to not cry again.

"please don't go in my wedding, because it would make me leave somi, i won't make this." donghyuck uttered.

"don't worry, i would never go on your wedding if it's not us. and i know this is just forced, i understand you." you told him and hugged him once again.

"how about us after my wedding?" he asked.

"i don't know. i told you, this will be correct someday, maybe not now but in our next life." you then broke the hug and said, "now go." afterwards then pecked his lips for the last time you know you could.

and as donghyuck left, you sat on the edge of your bed and did the thing, crying, you were crying like forever.

and so did donghyuck as he drove himself to the place where he must go before the venue. his tears kept rolling down his cheeks that makes his sight gets blurry.

donghyuck was fixing his necktie, facing the mirror until the door swung open which made him and his sister's attention to avert on that.

and seeing her made jihyuck's face to lighten up as a wide smile crept onto her face but for donghyuck, his eyes widened, a hint of surprise is obviously evident onto his reaction.
