After a night of dreamy adventures with Draco, Hermione felt a tug on her shoulder.

"Hey Hermione, it's time to get up. You don't want to be late to breakfast, the boys will eat all of the good stuff" Ginny joked

"Ugh, it's so early though. I don't want to leave my bed. It's so warm." Hermione groaned shielding her eyes from the sunlight peeking through the curtains.

"You and I both know that if you miss breakfast Ron will come running in here in a panic" Ginny grinned braiding her hair.

Hermione sighed and grabbed the brush off of her bedside table. Her unruly hair puffed up with each stroke. She stood up and walked over to her chest at the end of the bed. She pulled out her Gryffindor sweater, robe, and grey skirt to replace her nightgown. She quickly changed and grabbed her book satchel. Right before she opened the door to the common room, she glanced at her bed and saw the note lying on her nightstand. Hermione quickly rushed over and slid it into her copy of "Hogwarts: A History".

"I should ask Malfoy about this today" She mumbled under her breath

Harry and Ron were impatiently waiting for Hermione in the common room. As she entered, they both huffed in annoyance.

"Why does it always take you girls so long to get ready?" Harry asked getting up

"You would take a while too if you had this much hair to deal with'' Hermione snapped

"Can we just please go to breakfast, I'm starving." Ron sighed walking out of the dorm room

During breakfast, Ron and Harry noticed that Hermione was being strangely quiet. However, neither of them wanted to say anything. The trio ate their food in silence until two fellow Weasleys sat down on opposite sides of Hermione.

"Hey Fred, did you hear about that Gryffindor girl helping Draco last night?" George smirked

At that moment, Hermione's heart stopped. Surely the twins wouldn't out her. She looked at Fred with pleading eyes.

"I did hear about her, supposedly she's someone close to-" Fred stopped midsentence after noticing the look on Hermione's face.

"She's close to who? what kind of Gryffindor would do that? She must be in the wrong house.?" Ron rolled his eyes

"Uh.. that she was close to his family or something. They grew up together." Fred lied.

George gave him a questionable look but trusted his judgment not to say anything.

"Growing up with Malfoy, that would be a terror of a childhood." Harry laughed biting into some bread

"I'm going to head to potions, I don't want to be late. I'll see you all there" Hermione quickly stood and gathered her things.

"I'll come with you, I have to walk that way anyway," Fred said standing with her.

Harry, Ron, and George waved goodbye and continued to eat.

"So why were you with Draco last night?" Fred asked looking at the ground

"If I tell you, will you drop the subject and not tell anyone else?" Hermione asked

Fred smiled slightly and nodded. He liked to think he was someone Hermione trusted

"Well. Draco and I are kind of friends. We bonded over Christmas break. Last night he was a bit out of it and needed help to get to the Slytherin common rooms. So I helped him." Hermione explained nervously

"I mean if that's all it was, there's nothing wrong with it. The only issue would be if there were romantic feelings for him. Which I know you're smarter than that" Fred laughed playfully poking her side
