A Viking boat was sailing through the ocean. The vikings were getting ready for battle. There was a boy named Stigr Borg who was at the age of seventeen. Stigr had brown eyes. He had red short curly hair with sideburns and a mustache on his face. Some would say that he looks a bit like his mother Queen Kari Borg. He was wearing leather and mail for armor like the rest of the army. They had swords, spears, and axes for weapons. Some of them had shields for protection. A young woman named Hertha Borg walked towards him. She was at the age of nineteen. She had a black half up faux -hawk for a hairstyle she had blue beautiful eyes. Some would say even she kind of acts like her mother. She looks like her father King Hjalmar of Akehold who was their leader of the raid.

There was a young man behind Hearha named Olin Gise who was the bodyguard of King Hjalmar Borg's Children and madly in love with Hertha. He was the age of twenty one. He had long braid blonde hair with stubble on his face. He had green eyes that all the ladies love back at home. "What's wrong brother," Hertha asked as she sat down on the side of the boat. "I'm just nervous about this raid," Stigr replied with worry on his face. "This would be my first raid I've ever been on and I don't want to disappoint father," Stigr continued as he looked at his father King Hjalmar who was talking to one of his men. "You won't do that Stigr," Hertha said.

"You've been practicing since you could hold a wooden sword. Plus Olin and I will be there to watch your back. And the gods are watching you, Hertha continued. "That's right Stigr, it's my job to protect you both," Olin said as he sat down on the floor of the boat. "What is this place we're raiding," Stigr asked. "It's this new place that father and I heard of called Earleen Hold," Hertha replied with an excited expression. "It has these new people and this new religion called Amos," Hertha continued.

"We're close to shore," One of the warriors screamed. Everyone in boats jumped off once they got closer to Earleen Hold. They entered the woods and found a hill by a river. "This would do for a campsite," King Hjalmar said. They set up tents, chairs, and tables at the campsite. They put food and drinks out on the tables from the boats. King Hjalmar and his children had their own big tent. They were sitting at a round table drinking ale and eating venison. "I want you two to go with the search party and find a town to raid that's close to camp tomorrow," King Hjalmar said as he drank his cup of ale. "Yes father," Hertha and Sigr said as they are their venison.

"May I suggest something father," Hertha asked as she drank her cup of ale. "Of course always Hertha," King Hjalmar replied with a smile on his face. "When we find a town to raid I think we should make a fortress there," Hertha said as she finishes her first piece of venison. "Just in case we want to come back and this would be a great place to start a new settlement," Hertha continued. "You may be right we'll see when we raid it first and take a look at the place," King Hjalmar said as he started to eat his venison.

After eating dinner they went to sleep for the night. The next day Hertha, Stigr, and Olin went with the searching party to look for a town to raid. They walked for one hour and three minutes. There was a town fifteen miles away from their camp. "Look at her," Hertha said with a smile. "It's huge and it looks great for a settlement," Stigr said as he looked at the town. "And it's not that far away from the sea or camp either," Hertha said as she looked at the town with admiration. "Come, sister let's go tell father," Stigr said as he started to head to the campsite. Hertha followed her little brother back to camp. When they got there King Hjalmar was in his tent talking to one of his men.

Hertha and Stiger entered the tent and sat down at the table. King Hjalmar dismissed his man from the tent. A servant brought rabbit stew soup to eat and beer to drink. "We found a town to father and it is not far away from the sea or camp either," Hertha said as she started to eat the rabbit stew soup. "Ah it must be the town of Earmon you've found," King Hjalmar said as he ate the rabbit stew soup. "So when sure we attack Earmon," Stigr asked as he took a sip of beer. "Well first we must come up with a plan before we attack them my son," King Hjalmar said as he took his second bite of the rabbit stew soup. "I have a plan father and it's a good one," Hertha said as she took a sip of beer.

"And what is that plan my daughter," King Hjalmar asked as he ate the rabbit stew soup. "I had a great view of this town, Earmon and I saw it's faults," Hertha replied as she drank her cup of beer. "They have three sets of stairs on each side of the town. Two of them are unprotected and the third one is guard well. One is on the left, the second is on the right and the third is in the front. I think we should send some men through the entrance and have them break the gate. And we sure attack in two days," Hertha continued as she finished her cup of beer. "That's a good plan Hertha," King Hjalmar said with pride in his voice and a smile on his face. "Since you came up with a plan you get to lead," King Hjalmar continued as he started to finish the rabbit stew soup. "I will not let you down father," Hertha said as she had a huge smile on her face.

After eating Hertha, Stigr, and King Hjalmar got ready for the raid in two days. They were getting their weapons and shields for the raid. The two days pass and they arrive by the hill. Hertha spit the army into three groups to attack Earmon. Stigr and Olin followed Hertha towards the first set of stairs. While King Hjalmar took his men to the second set of stairs. The other group was waiting by the brushes to hear fighting so they could break down the gate. Hertha walked down the set of stairs with her men and entered Earmon. One of people saw Hertha armed to the teeth and screamed bloody murder. The others went to see what was screaming for once they saw the raiders they called for the guards.

The first set of guards arrived once Hertha reached the end of the stairs and tried to attack them. Hertha usheasted her sword as a guard ran toward her with his sword. She blocked his sword with a shield and pushed him away. He fell back onto the ground and she brought her sword towards his throat and killed him. Stigr slashed open one of the guards head and watched him hit the floor with blood over his face. Another guard came up from behind him and Hertha ran towards him and entered her sword into his back. Stigr turned around and saw the guard's eyes were wide and full of shock with blood coming out of his mouth and sword up in the air.

As the guard fell forward and saw his big sister Hertha with her sword full of blood. "Thank you sister," Stigr said with a great look on his face. "Anytime little brother," Hertha said as she went back to the battlefield to find her another target. Another set of guards rans towards her group of men. That's when King Hjalmar and his group joined the fight. And the third group finally broke down the gate and entered the battle. Once the people realized they were surrounded they ran towards their church and the last of the guards tried to protect them. One man ran out of the gates of the town. Stigr and Olin killed a few in the front then Hertha and King Hjalmar killed the rest in the back. Once they killed all the guards, they followed the people of Earmon.
