"This is the story of how I died, don't worry it's actually a really fun story..."

I stumble down the stairs to see my little sister passed out on the couch watching Tangled. That silly little girl can't even stay awake for the best movie of all time.

I feel a smile grace my lips. She is growing so fast. It's hard to believe that she is already 12. It still feels like yesterday when this little nugget was born.

"Daddy! Come play with me!" I yelled down the hall to my dad. He gave out a hearty laugh straight from his gut and I could practically feel his laughter like it was my own, his emotions filling up my body.

"Okay honey be there in a minute!" I was getting everything ready to play with my dad but that is when I heard the crash.

"Johnny!" I recognized my mom's voice, it sounded like she was in pain. "The baby! It's coming!" I heard a loud scream rip from her throat and I ran towards her as fast as I could.

When I entered the living room, I froze. My mom was laying on the ground in pain, my dad was talking to 911 on the phone. I didn't know what to do. I was so lost, confused. I ran and knelt down by my mom.

"What's wrong mommy? Are you okay? What's happening?" My mom was dripping sweat, her face was a beet red. She lifted up a shaking hand to my face.

"Your sister is coming baby girl. Your gonna be a big sister soon." Being only five I didn't know the journeys that lie ahead and the sadness those next few months would bring.

I woke out of my trance, forgetting about that memory, when I saw fingers snapping in front of my face. I shook my head to get that crazy day out of my thoughts and to continue on with my day.

"Hey sis! What are you doing standing there and staring at me like that?" I smiled at my little sister and just shrugged my shoulders. "You were thinking about mom again weren't you?" My smile instantly dropped and I felt a frown coming on but I hid it from her with a confused look.

"Hey! Don't give me that look, I know you better than you think. I can make out almost every face you put on display. Just because you can't talk doesn't mean that you don't speak." What in the world did my little sister just say. I felt utter confusion take hold of me and it clearly got displayed on my face.

"You know what. I agree with you. That actually made more sense in my head than out loud but you know what I mean?" I just smiled and shook my head at her craziness.

I was about to head upstairs and get ready for school when I heard the front door close and I began to sweat.
