He wasn't the typical boy that most girls might fall in love with. He was, different. If it weren't for my mom I never would've met him. So I guess in a way, I have her to blame for this TOTAL HEARTBREAK I'M FEELING RIGHT NOW.

Let me start from the beginning of this year..

“You know you’re not bad, you could really make a career out of this,” mom yelled, as I nervously got ready. Today was the big audition and I was still second guessing my decision to go. See I wasn’t like most dancers who like to show off and stretch right in front of the judges, showing off their needles and splits. I was the type of dancer who hid in the background waiting for the right moment to shine. Mom thought that made me seem shy with a lack of assurance, which got me totally stressed out! I mean thanks for the confidence booster. I never really auditioned for anything, well except select chorus and look where that brought me (closer to dance).

“You’re gonna be late,” mom screamed, interrupting my thoughts. I didn’t really know what to expect to be honest, but one thing I did know is that judges did not put up with tardy dancers. I quickly dabbed on my new red lipstick, hoping to stand out, and ran out the door.
