Quinsea Septim IVI stretched and yawned, ready for bed. Sharinzah , in all her generosity, had purchased a large manor for us all, and gifted us all with 23,652 septims to run the whole family. I hated my sister. Opening the window to my room, I fanned my face as I combed my fur, letting out a content sigh as cool night air graced me.
A slight creak was heard from downstairs, but that couldn't be right because everyone else was asleep...
I froze as my door slowly creaked open.
'Hello.' Whispered a voice.
'Uhm... hello? Who are you?'
'My name is Raven, Miss Septim. You hired me to kill Miss Sharinzah Septim two weeks ago.'
'And?'
'Lady Septim has ordered me to give you this gift, I do hope you enjoy it.'
Eagerly, I took the card from Raven.
Dearest Sister,
Rubies are Red
Sapphires are Blue
They looked nice in your safe
And your gold did too. With love,
Shadow'What does this mean?' I asked.
'I have a new mistress now, I'm afraid. Also, you seem to be Twenty three thousand, six hundred and fifty two septims short to bail yourself out of Bruma's jail.'
'What?!'
'Stop Right there, criminal scum!' Barked a guard, bursting into my room.
'You can't do this! I'm the Empress!' I shrieked.
'We 'ave orders 'ere from 'is majesty, Emperor Karthorn Septim, ta take ya back down ta the cells ta rot, ya vermin!'
'What?! That traitor!'
'Don' you go callin' your Emperor a traita! Jus' because 'e asked for ya by name, don' mean ya get special treatment. You migh' be related to our Lord, but tha' don' mean nothin' down there. Not to us anyway.'
I hung my head as they dragged me away.
Raven
Gods that Khajiit was stupid. She couldn't tell by the way the guards talked (Raven has a beautiful Irish accent, while the guards sounded Scottish. Of course, Ireland and Scotland don't exist in the elder scrolls, but those are the accents.) that they were mercenaries, and she was fooled into thinking she hired me two weeks ago.
I took off my hood and shook out my curly red locks, grinning to myself as I took a small portion from the family safe, just enough that they'd never be able to bail their sister out of jail. My higher employers had this all planned out, and I was the weapon that would carve the path to Emperor Karthorn Septim.
What glory we would have when we finally rooted out all of the Septim bloodline, when we put an end to the filth that kept the land safe from our lord's influence. That fool Silius, in Dawnstar, he has FAKES. The Mysterium Xarxes is still in working order, and we shall all escape to paradise eventually, for when the last emperor is dead, a new age will dawn. An age of pure light, of enlightenment and of truth. Our mighty lord would rule over Tamriel, and all would be well.
Oh yes.
The Mythic Dawn was Rising.
