In the phone conversation, A represents Annabelle, and the H represents the hospital. Hope you enjoy! xx
6 Months Ago: Annabelle's POV: My parents are taking me shopping today after softball practice, because my seventeenth birthday is in just less than a week. They keep asking me all of these weird questions. Like, "Has your body changed any since your sixteenth birthday?" And weird questions like that. I don't understand why they're so confused when I tell them that nothing is different than before. But, I guess my parents are just weird. After school, I take a my gym bag and go to the softball field. But, as soon as I got there I got a call from the hospital. I quickly answered the call hoping everything was fine.
*Phone conversation* A- Hello? H- Hello, is this Annabelle Michelson? A- Yes, it is. May I ask why you're calling? H- I'm sorry to inform you that your parents have been in a bad accident, and are in critical condition. You may want to get to the hospital as soon as possible. The doctors do not know how much longer they have, dear. A- O-okay.. I'll be there soon. H- Alright dear. *End of conversation*
After that phone call, I feel like my heart has been ripped out, and like my world has crashed down.. I rush to my best friend Ryan's house and knock on the door. A few seconds later a sleepy looking Ryan appeared. He soon seen my face and his facial expression softened.
"What's wrong Anna?" Ryan asked as he looked at me with a worried expression.
"M-my parents.. They're in the hospital.." I sobbed out beginning to cry harder.
"Oh my gosh, Anna.. I'm so sorry. Come on, let's take you to see them." He said sympathetically.
Ryan didn't know my parents, but he was still upset when I told him about them being in the hospital for my sake. As soon, as he got his car keys we rushed to the car, and drove to the hospital. When we got there, we rushed down the halls to the receptionist and asked her where my parents rooms were. She told us room 419, so we rushed to the elevator and waiting to get on their room floor. I was still sobbing, so Ryan put his arm around my waist protectively to calm me down. But, it didn't work.
As soon as the elevator came to a stop Ryan and I were out the door, and at my parents room. I rushed through the door while Ryan stood by the entrance giving me my space. As I got through the door, my parents came into sight. When I seen them laying there lifelessly, I began to cry even more, if that was even possible. I quickly grabbed a chair from the doorway, and put it between my mother and father's beds. I just sat there, holding both of their hands while I silently cried. Begging them to wake up. Suddenly there were two loud, and endless beeping sounds. Soon, after doctors rushed into the room and rushed me out. I began to cry and scream "Mom, dad don't leave me! I need you! I need you awake, alive! Please don't leave me." The last part was barely audible. After one hour, that seemed like the longest hour of my life the doctors came back out of the room. And, shortly after a nurse had came and told me that they had done everything they could, but my parents still died.. After that, all I remember is looking at Ryan's face then being taken over by complete blackness..
