George and Harold were in the tree house, Harold doodling on a paper and George watching, without Harold knowing. Over the week, George noticed Harold's attitude change. He didn't make jokes, laugh as much to their pranks, or even want to draw their comics. He seemed distracted and always lost in thought.

On the paper, were drawings of Harold in front a green house with Captain Underpants. It was like a comic, but on one piece of paper and without dividers.

As the pencil and crayons slide across the paper, Harold presses down harder as time goes on. In a matter of minutes, the comic is done and the green crayon breaks on the last stroke.

George looks over the comic with curiosity and slight concern for his friend.

The first panel was Harold on Captain Underpants' back, flying in the air.

The second panel was of them landing in front of a green house.

The third was a woman in the door that Harold and Captain Underpants were now in front of.

The fourth was a man with curly blonde hair, like Harold's, -but most of it was gone- standing in the door. The drawing of Capatin Underpants seemed to have a phone in his hand and stars for eyes.

The fifth was of the man yelling at Harold and it had speech bubbles with crossed out rainbows.

The last one was Harold on Captain Underpants' back again, flying in the air like the first panel, but both of them were sad.

George looks at his friend who was now crying in his chair. He hugs him while he curls into a ball, hugging his knees to his chest.

"G-geor-rge..! I don't know what to do-o..! I'm so sca-ared..! I can't take it..! It's too much..! It's crushing m-..! I can't do this anymore..! What's wrong with me..!? Why am I like this..!?"

George rubs Harold's back, listening carefully to what he was saying, ready to answer his questions when he was done. But, eventually, Harold started to scream about his self worth and how he felt as if he should end it, and George couldn't take it. He couldn't stand how toxic Harold's mind was becoming.

George pulls back to look at Harold. "Sssshhhhh...just tell me what happened.." He interrupted his friend in the middle of his sentence, even though he had a pretty good idea of what happened.

Harold sniffs. "C-captain Underpants took me to see my dad and....a-and.." He looks at George, a scowl flashing in his vision over his face.

"And? C'mon, you can trust me, Harold."

The blonde boy bites his lip, looking away. George can see the uncertancy in his eyes. George knows that look. It's the same look from first grade.

Harold hadn't believed something George told him because he had experienced the same words before. Harold has been hurt, many times. He just doesn't show it. He just won't show it. He doesn't like talking about his problems, and that just adds to said problems. Harold always tells George his problems, though, so when he is't sure wether or not he would tell him this one, it worried him. It must be something really bad if even George can't be told as easily.
