"Damn this party jumping" my best friend Carmen commented as we walked into a house party set up. " it is ain't it? this is my song" I replied back to her as I started to sway to the music a bit. It was our first college party and we were beyond excited about this going to our dream college was just another plus.
Moving through sweaty bodies we finally got into the kitchen "Whew it's hot as hell too geez" I started picking up a cup and putting punch into it. We were looking cute as hell for our first party and FAMU really knew how to get down so we knew we had to show up and show out.

"Damn it" I cursed as the red punch juice began to stain my white shirt " damn you got a hole in your mouth" Carmen giggled as she sipped on her punch looking at me trying to get the stain out but there was no napkins anywhere in the kitchen. How you gonna host a party and not have paper towel in the main area riddle me that.
" you ain't no type of help" I mumbled to myself "I'll be back i'm go to the bathroom and try and get this stain out, stay right here" I grumbled "stay right here" I repeated again. "I'm going to be right here when you get back hurry up damn" Carmen replied rolling her eyes. I looked at her again before making my way to the bathroom I had to make sure Carmen heard me because she was one of those "yeah Ill be right here when you get back" friends and next minute she gone it happens every damn time.
The house they had the party in was nice as hell and I know whom ever was hosting the party had money or parents had money. Walking up the stairs I began to look for the bathroom and after me opening doors and only finding it to be a bedroom I finally I found the bathroom but the door was locked huffing I stood to the side and waited for the person to come out of the bathroom.
A few minutes later the door began to open and a girl walking out wiping the sides of the mouth with her hand and fixing her clothes. She looked at me with big eyes as she fixed her clothes quickly walking down the stairs like her ass was on fire I lifted my eyebrow and shrugged.
The sweet smell of cologne soon filled my nostrils polo black I know that smell anywhere my dad wears it for my mom on special occasions. He walked out of the bathroom fixing his belt and chains around his neck her cut the corner short and bumped into me making me stumble a little bit.
His quick firm hands caught me just before I stumbled to the ground.
"Damn my bad ma I didn't even see you standing right there you good?" he said his voice was smooth like silk but deep and calm.
Looking up to see who the mystery boy was I was completely and utterly shocked.
My breath was caught in my throat was I looked into his beautiful brown eyes. We both held the same shocked express his eyes began to looked beyond my face and I did the same.
