Cliffhanger much?

*Hailey P.O.V*

                Since everyone thinks I'm 'dating' Alex, a lot of the girls really went full at it when they saw me and him walking to school together. "Stay away from my baby bitch," I heard one of them say. I think Alex heard her too since he called her back and she was acting all innocent and flirty.  Ugghh and her makeup.... too much. "Hey Alex. I knew you would talk to me," she said twirling her hair. I rolled my eyes.

                  "Yea umm..Sophie right?  Yea so 1) I'm not 'your baby'  2) I don't date sluts 3) don't ever call my girl a bitch. Now is you'll excuse us we have a math class to get to," he said. Whoa. The look on Sopie's face was priceless. She looked like a fish out of water. Once we were around the corner and out of sight I high-fived him and we laughed the whole way. Alexander Rivers stood up for ME. I'm getting light-headed just thinking about it.

*Alex P.O.V*

                It hurt me that that slut called her a bitch. I mean girls these days. Hailey is so nice and gorgeous. Wait what? Why am I thinking about her that way. Ughh. Whatever. We got to class and we sat next to each other.

After School

               I walked out of school waiting for Hailey. She had P.E as her last period so she has to get changed. I was fiddling with my phone when someone came up behind me a blacked out...

*Hailey P.O.V*

                Ughh I hate P.E. I had to go change out of my sweaty T-shirt and into a sweater. Alex said he would wait for me outside. I draped my bag over my shoulder and walked out. That's when I noticed Alex's phone on the floor. It was cracked. I immediately knew what happened. Okay you caught me I have a power. I can sense where someone is and what happened if I have their possession.

               I picked up his phone and followed my vampire instinct to where Alex was. I really hope he's okay. He is still not strong enough. He can't fight in till he is fully awakened. I swear if they lay a hand on him...
