My name is Lilah and this is the story of how I survived the crash that changed my life forever.

I was standing there with a map in one hand and a camera in the other. I was looking for directions to a place, a place that I have been but forgotten all about, a place filled with peace and happiness. Then there was the mist, the dark solemn suffocating mist. The muscles in my hand tensed up, my feet glued tight to the ground, I could not move. All that was buzzing in my head was," Move Lilah! Move! " I can hear it, the loud shouts then honking and screeching of the cars, The frantic screams of the people, then it was silence. The silence was both horrifying but in a wierd and twisted way, satisfying. I laid there, helpless but filled with happiness. I shouldn't be feeling that way, it's not right from what I've been taught, but it's what I'm feeling, and here in this free and safe space, there is no longer any reasons to hide them. My eyelids got heavier and heavier until I can no longer resist the urge of closing them, my eyelashes brushed against my face until I was in complete darkness.
