"So it was you."

He murmured, still slightly shocked.

"Yeah. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get to Konoha."

She humorlessly chuckled. This immediately caught his attention.

"Why?"

He queried, raising an eye.

"You'll find out sooner or later. Mind if I stay here for a while?"

She nonchalantly asked.

Wait...did she just ask...?

Unsure of how to respond, and still not quite over the shock of finding out Akari was still alive, he slowly nodded.

"Thanks. And sorry about showing up so suddenly...would it have been better if I hadn't come back at all...?"

She uncertainly asked. As if on reflex, Sasuke quickly shook his head.

"No. Don't say that. I've been alone for so many years...you don't know how happy I am to see you."

She smiled.

"Thanks."

Something feels a little off about her...

"So who will I be tested against?"

It was 1 o'clock sharp. Akari was standing in the middle of the Hokage's office, as discussed.

"A Genin, Chunin, Jonin, and an ANBU. We, the village elders, don't expect you to beat all of them, but try your best."

Hiruzen told her. She nodded, and turned around, facing her opponents.

"Would you mind taking this fight outside? I don't want to be charged with the destruction of the office."

She asked. Confused, they nodded.

What damage could a 10 year old create?

Nonetheless, they moved the fight to training ground 46.

"Alright then...let the fight begin!"

Hiruzen announced. Akari made a two one-handed signs.

"Water style: Water Dragon. Lightning style: Electromagnetic Murder."

The Genin was hit dead on with the Jutsu, and the Chunin was electrocuted by the shockwave, knocking them both out.

Such a powerful water style, with no water source nearby...

The remaining ninja thought. They raised their guards.

Akari slipped shuriken into her hands, infusing them with wind chakra, and blew on them, making them spin like razors, and threw them.

(For visual, like what Danzo did when he fought Sasuke)

The ninja were constantly dodging the shuriken, too focused to notice the senbon flying towards them. The Jonin was hit in the neck on a pressure point, and forced  unconscious, but the ANBU dodged it, only to get hit by one of the shuriken instead, leaving a deep gash in his torso.

"All this...and you haven't moved an inch..."

He murmured. She tilted her head.

"It doesn't really matter if I didn't need to, does it?"

She asked, and disappeared.

A second later, the ANBU found himself staring into glowing, crimson eyes.
