*Flashback*
*ding* I picked up my phone to look at the text I had just received.
Paul: Amie, I think we should stop hanging out. My girlfriend doesn't like it
I looked at my phone and was at a loss for what to say.
Amie: Are you sure Paul? Aren't I at least important enough to you for you to want to still be my friend?
Paul: I'm sorry Amie but she's just more important to me.
I didn't even notice I'd started crying until the tears fell onto the screen.
Amie: If that's what you think is best.
Paul: Bye Amie
*End of flashback*
"Amie McNeal, dosing of in my lesson again?" My science teacher Mrs.Lockwood said snapping me out of my daze.
"I'm sorry Mrs.Lockwood. I've just had a lot on my mind lately" I responded quietly. She nodded at me and walked away.
When second period ended I headed to my locker before making my way to the school's cafeteria. I entered the large room and made my way over to my usual table near the back hidden from everyone else, and took out a book. I was happily reading my book when I noticed someone approaching that i absolutely did not want to see today.
"Well what do we have here? If it isn't Amie, the freak, McNeal" She said looking down at me. Meet Grace Reid the bitchy cheer captain. When I'd first met her at the beginning of ninth grade I didn't think she was that bad, but after she started dating my best friend Paul she started showing her true colours. She started constantly picking on me and calling me a freak because of my grey eyes.I'm sure if she were nicer she'd be much more popular since she's gorgeous. She had bright blue eyes, platinum blonde hair, fair skin and a lean figure. She looked like a model, it's too bad her ugly personality shows through.
"I'm not in the mood for your insults today Grace" I said paying her little attention.
"Whatever freak. Go back to being gloomy" She snapped and turned away from me. This was gonna be one long day. I left the cafeteria and headed to my third period class. I walked into my english class and went to my usual seat near the window. I took out my book planning to read through the rest of lunch.
When the bell rang and other students started I put my book in my bag and went to grab my phone. It was then that I had noticed that it was gone. My teacher walked into the class and I quickly walked over to her.
"I can't find my phone can I go check the office please Ms.Adams?" I asked quietly
"Sure Amie, just don't take too long. Would you like me to call down and tell them your coming?" She offered kindly. I nodded my head and walked towards the office.
"Amie McNeal" the receptionist said holding a phone out to me, "I believe this is yours. Be more careful with it next time.
I thanked her and smiled heading back to my class. As I walked into my class I felt my phone vibrate and saw that I'd gotten a text. I unlocked my phone and checked the text.
Unknown: Hello Amie
Sorry that the first chapter was so short I'll try to make them longer in future. I'll eventually try to get a fixed upload schedule but it's hard right now because I'm just getting back to school. ~Nylana
