Dear Diary,
Sorry Diary, but it was super busy! Getting ready to drive across the country is a lot of work! When my friends Kelly and Britney found out, they were so excited! They were also super jealous.
But enough about that.
Last night was NUTS. Dinner was a blur of lists and bags. Turns out, when you drive across the country, you have to bring a lot of stuff in as little bags as possible. Rachel is packing her bags with clothes, makeup, more clothes, and more makeup. Mom and Dad have A TON of guidebooks. You'd think we were going to be there for a year! James and Chris are packing every toy in the house. I went and bought a bunch of new books from the book store. Mr. Johnson thought we were crazy! "Driving down to Texas? What, are you tired of Minot? We got everything you need here!" Except of course beaches, sand and sunlight, I wanted to tell him.
Well, we leave tomorrow, so I gotta go!
