Kyungsoo walked into his work quickly rushing to get ready.
"You're late" His boss spoke walking past
"I'm sorry dad" Kyungsoo apologized as he followed his boss out
"Don't do it again I said we had a very important guest tonight. You're lucky he's late too"
"I'll go stand at the front" Kyungsoo spoke walking to the front desk
He clicked around on the computer. Kyungsoo looked up as the doors opened. He smiled widely waiting for someone to walk to the desk.
"Kim for 4" A black haired male in a suit spoke as he fixed his suit
"You're the first to arrive let me walk you to your table" Kyungsoo smiled grabbing the menus.
"He's cute" Kyungsoo heard a whisper
"This is it, J-Just call me over when you're ready to order" Kyungsoo blushed placing the menus down
"Thank you"
Kyungsoo walked away and back to the front desk. The blush still on his face from that males comment.
"Kim for 4" A woman spoke up walking to the desk
"Oh, right this way" Kyungsoo smiled
He walked the woman to the table hearing loud laughter from it ad he approached.
"Right here, are you guys ready to get something to drink?" Kyungsoo asked looking around
"Kyungsoo! We need you over here!" A yell came from the kitchen
Kyungsoo looked back confused seeing the chef peeking out. He gave a small one moment sign and got their orders.
"Alright, I'll be right back with those" Kyungsoo smiled
He rushed away and into the kitchen seeing what was supposed to be already made plates of food for other people.
"What happened!?" Kyungsoo asked rushing to help clean up
"Everyone was rushing around and they got dumped on the floor"
"Don't let my dad see this. Mr.Kim you go ahead and start remaking the plates. Everyone else clean up I have to go work with these super important guests."
"Alright"
"Please have this cleaned up before I get back in here" Kyungsoo sighed beginning to make the drinks
He walked out with the tray of drinks and towards the table. As he walked closer to the table he saw one of the waiters who didn't like him too much walking his way. Kyungsoo sped up a bit only for the waiter to walk by tripping him. Kyungsoo fell the drinks landing right in the male from earliers lap. Kyungsoo looked up fear consuming him. The male didn't look angry but the woman who was most likely his mother was fuming.
"HOW DARE YOU!" She shouted
Kyungsoo stood up immediately his body shaking as he tried to speak.
"I-I'm so sorry I-I didn't mean to I fell a-and I c-"
"DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THAT SUIT IS?" She screamed as Kyungsoo's father rushed over
"What happened?" He glared at Kyungsoo
"I-I fell" Kyungsoo looked down at the floor
"Do Kyungsoo! Look at this mess! And his suit! That's this week's and next week's paycheck!" He yelled
"B-But my rent" Kyungsoo cried
"I don't care you messed up!"
"Please stop yelling at him. It's not that big of a deal, it's a suit I have plenty more and It's not like he can control being tripped by another waiter. For goodness sake holding his paychecks for two weeks? He has rent to pay, not everyone is rich that's why people have jobs like these. Let him be." The male spoke up
Kyungsoo cried silently as his father glared at him.
"Jongin be quiet he's getting what he deserves" His mom spoke up
"You know what dinner is over. Go home mom. He didn't pour the drinks on me you're overreacting just to put someone in pain. Don't use your money as a step stool to put you over people. Just go home, I'm gonna change and actually finish dinner tonight. But I'd like to finish it alone."
