Chapter 4

A/N QUICK NOTE MIKASA HAS LONG HAIR AT THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY I DECIDED I WANTED HER TO HAVE LONG HAIR IN THE BEGINNING AND FOR HER TO CUT HER HAIR IN THIS CHAPTER SO YEAH DONT GET CONFUSED LOL. SORRY FOR GRAMMAR AND SPELLING ERRORS
Eren pov:
I was having trouble sleeping the cuts I made on my wrist kept stinging and just kept me awake taking a look at the time it was already 2:30 in the morning. I twisted my body to look at the ceiling sleeping on the couch wasn't as comfortable as sleeping on my bed. I felt a bit thirsty I decided to get up and get a glass of water. Walking to the kitchen I grab a glass from the cabinet and place it on the table and roll up my sleeves before Doing anything else since I didn't want my sleeves getting wet I turn the sink on and place my cup under the water filling the cup halfway. I turned off the sink and drank the water I finished it and washed the cup knowing Levi would be a bother about it and complain. I went back to the couch and sat down And later back down it was a little cold in the living room the blanket I had wasn't much help since it was a little short. I tried going to sleep but I just couldn't I rest my wrist on my forehead staring at the ceiling it was dark but the moons light was shining through the windows which lit up the living room a bit. It was quite peaceful a quiet town and a quiet home. I got bored of laying down I sat up and decided to go on the roof where I did most of my thinking or just to have time to myself away from everyone else. I grabbed my phone I wanted my headphones since I wanted to listen to music but I remembered I left them in my room. I got up and headed towards my door and slowly twist the door knob and slightly pushing it the door creaked a bit which is very annoying. I turn my flashlight on that was on my phone and looked for my headphones which was on my desk I tip toed towards but when I placed my left foot down it began to cream a bit more I didn't want to wake mikasa up. I reached over and successfully grabbed it and I began walking out of the room looking at mikasa making sure I didn't wake her up but she had her back facing towards me so she must be asleep as I close the door it creaked I cringe my door happened to do this sometimes I didn't mind but right now it wasn't the perfect time. I look at mikasa she was still asleep I fully close the door and begin walking up the stairs that led to the roof I open the door which led to the roof nothing was up here except for a foldable metal chair I placed. As I take a seat I place my headphones in and played anything that sounded calm I didn't want anything to loud I leaned back on the chair and place my legs on the ledge as just stared and admire the starry sky.
Mikasa pov:
I was laying down on my side and sleeping but I heard a noise making me open my eyes slowly. It sounded like a creak from something I wasn't sure what I was staring at a wall I turned my body around to see the door close.

"Eren?" I thought.

It had to be him who else would come in his room at this time of night. I sit up to make sure it was actually him I place my bare feet on the cold wooden floor. It was a little cold I walk to the couch he was laying in but he wasn't there

"I wonder where he went?" I ask myself.

I check the back porch but he wasn't there I head towards the bathroom but nobody was there. I close the bathroom door and I look to my right to see a door at the end of the hallway which was slightly opened I head towards it. I was using the flashlight on my phone to light up the room but it wasn't a room but a set of stairs that went up. I walk up the stairs until I reached the top to push a second door once the door opened I was met with the moon I step onto the concrete flooring my feet were a bit cold since it was a bit wet on the roof from the rain and due to the fact it gets a little cold at night and I didn't have any slippers to use. I take a peek around the door to see someone sitting on a chair leaning back. I turn off the flashlight on my phone they had their hands in their pockets I walk towards them quietly to only realize it was just eren. I smiled I wanted to scare him but he'll most likely get mad I walk towards him and tap on his shoulder he turned his head he didn't even flinch.
Eren pov:
As I was sitting down listening to my music staring at the stars. I then felt a tap on my shoulder I didn't flinch but I had chills run up my body and my heart began speeding fast. I turn my head to only realize it was just mikasa.
