Ring
The bell for seventh period goes off and and I pack my stuff up.

"Mr. Skiff, can I have a word?" I ask my math teacher.

Mr. Skiff is in his early forties and his usual attire consists of kakis and polos.

"Yes of course Taylor " he says using my first name which he doesn't do with a lot of students. I guess it's part of being a 'goody good'

"Um, so I was wondering if there was any extra credit I could do?" I ask hopefully.

"Taylor, you already have an A. Most students wouldn't even ask for extra credit if they had a C"

"I know... I just wanna keep it up" I try to explain shifting my books in my arms.

"Go out, have fun for once. Go to a party" he says and I think

Ha, if only he knew

"Things like that just aren't really my scene " I say and he sighs.

"Okay. But really just get your homework done " he says as if it's bit the first thing I do when I get home.

"Okay, see you Monday Mr. Skiff" I say walking backward to wave.

I'm turning when I bump into something hard and bounce back.

Before I can hit the ground arms wrap around my waist.

I open my eyes and find a set of piercing green eyes staring into my blue ones.

"Hey, GG" Nathan Wesley the schools notorious 'bad boy' says to me.

Nathan was the one to make up the nickname GG (goody girl) in third grade.

"Um, hi" I respond squirming in his arms so he lifts me up.

"Sorry about that" I mumble looking at the ground.

"Just watch where you're going next time GG" he smirks at me before walking away.

I take a breath and turn toward my locker, which is right next to Mr. Skiffs classroom.

I grab my bag and put my laptop and binder inside.

My binder mainly consists of my homework and my notes from class.

Grabbing my bag I start walking out of Quinn High-school.

In my car I plug in aux on my phone and turn in my usual playlist.

Want you back by 5sos immediately plays and I turn it up.

Let's just say I'm a huge fan girl for 5sos

"Can't help but wonder if this the last time I'll see your face, is it tears or just the fucking rain?" I sing in the safety of my car.

"Wish I could say something, something that doesn't sound insane but lately I don't trust my brain"

I bop my head and tap my fingers on my steering wheels as I sing

"No matter where I go I'm always gonna want you back!" I belt out smiling.

I continue up sing as I drive down the street to my house.

"I remember the roses in your shirt when you told me this would never work" I catch two teenagers in a convertible next to me laughing and glancing and I immediately stop singing.

In fear of someone seeing me again I don't sing the rest of the drive.

"Mom, Dad I'm home" I call and my german shepherd Ashton comes running down the hallway.

I get down on a knee and he jumps into my arms licking me all over, his tail wagging one hundred miles an hour.

"Hi Ash!" I say and he starts jumping up and down.

I stand up when my mom walks into the hallway.

"How was school honey?" She asks smiling at me.

"Good, I got a 89 on my history test today " I say petting Ash

"That's great honey " she walks over and hugs me .

History wasn't my best or favorite subject so an 89 was pretty good.

"Where's dad?" I ask my mother who had the same baby blue eyes I had but with short blonde hair as I had my fathers dark brown hair and mine was long.

"He went to some conference for work. He'll be back for dinner" she says.

"Okay, I'm gonna go do my homework" I motion toward my room and she nods and walks off.

▫️▫️▫️▫️

After I did my homework and had dinner with mom and dad I got dressed.

For what you may ask.

For a night out.

Yes I'm and goody girl and I do my homework and get good grades but that doesn't mean I don't like to have fun

I learned not to long ago that life's short and that I need to make it the best life.

My parents don't know about me going out but they don't really need to either.

I have my escape route all planned out

It's quite simple actually.

I jump out my window on to my car and I'm out.

My car has only dented by me doing this once which i fixed easily.

When I'm at the ledge of my window I look back at my fake me, a collection of pillows made to look like a sleeping me.

With that I jump.

I land and no harm had been done to the car

But to my ankle is a different story. Pain swells in it.

I rolled it while landing I guess and I grab it.

"Fuck" I groan.

"God fucking damn it" I say when the pain doesn't subside.

"GG?" A voice says and I freeze. It could be anyone but I know that voice

I slowly turn toward Nathan.

I'm caught.
