Love is challenging. But still... No one knows the true definition of love. That's love... I discovered another meaning of love, which is sacrifices. Sometimes, you need to sacrifice so you and your partner will be happy or in other cases, you need to sacrifice for his/her own good. It happened to me... I'm Gwendolyn Alano and this is my story.
Gwendolyn's POV
"Love is a wilderness of twists and turns. It's where faith and trust are your only compass." He said to me, smiling, showing his dimples.
This guy, this guy is the one I want to spend my life with. I know that he's the one for me. He won't leave me just like the other guys on the planet. He's different from them. And I love it. I thought he's perfect that's why I love him. But I found out that he isn't perfect and that made me love him more.
"Ikaw talaga Mr. Casaño! You and your wise words!" I told him while I was laughing. This guy is so smart, cute, handsome, everything! I'm so lucky to be his girl.
I'm Gwendolyn Rain Alano. 19 years old. I'm studying here at Dela Fuente University, taking Comm. Arts. And the guy that I'm talking to? He's Niño Erik Casaño. Same school. Same age. And he's taking Business Management.
"Shut up! You love me naman!" He said smirking. He's so sure that I'll answer yes... Well, let's see. Mwahahahaha.
"No kaya! Asa" I told him, of course I was just kidding. I saw his sweet smile turned into an evil smile. Uhm...
"Oh... If that's what you want?" He smirked. Oh no. This is bad. This is really bad.
I tried to run away from him but this dork is too fast. He grabbed my waist and then he tickled me. Aaah. This guy knows my weakness. He knows me so well. And I love it. I love everything about him.
"What the---Niño, staaahp!" I said right in between the laughs. He hates being called "Niño". He thinks that that name sucks. Well for me it's an "okay" name.
"Ew. Stop calling me that name. Panget!" He's still tickling me. I escaped from his grip and turned my back to him. You can't just tell a girl that she's ugly! That's unacceptable. Really unacceptable!
"Hey Gwen..." He said, sounding serious. He's the only one who calls me that name and I love it! I turned around, and faced him. He's so damn cute even if he's serious.
"You're beautiful okay? Don't let anyone tell you that you're not. Ako lang ang pwe---OUCH!" Ha! I slapped his arm! Serves you right dork! Such way to ruin the sweet moment.
"I love you Mrs. Casaño! Kahit anong mangyari. Even tho there'll be twist and turns that'll arrive in our lives, I'll still love you! Kahit anong pag subok, haharapin ko. Just for you, okay?"
"Okay." OMG TFIOS FEELS! This guy knows the right words! I can tell that he's my Augustus Waters. And I'm his Hazel Grace.
"Promise?" I asked him, I know that he won't break this promise. I know that he'll love me forever. I know that he'll fight for me. I know him so well.
"Promise" and then he kissed my forhead as a sign of respect.
We're only M.U And we're not ready to be official yet pero someday I know that we'll be on that kind of relationship.
